Cook and Zeus played great at crunch time. The downs converted by the RBs took so much pressure away from Bennett and really got us rolling. Every player seemed to gain confidence from the late running game.

They all played great. Not too many people are talking about Mitchell’s catch. It was insane.

Monken really played to their strengths. Zeus for the power and Cook for the speed. They both played great last night. I'm gonna miss watching them both next year..

Mitchell
Pickens
Bowers
Cook
Zeus
Burton

Bennett all made HUGE impact plays on offense. It's amazing that we can name so many big plays by so many different players. And we could name just as many if not more on defense.

Zeus found something he didn't know he had in the 4th. DGD

Yah, to me Bowers, Smith, Bennett, Zeus, and Cook all deserve offensive co-MVP's. The 2 big runs that Zeus and Cook had were huge momentum turners and took the pressure off Stet and the offensive line.

I thought he did some of the best running in his career (I'm not talking statistically)

Had some great cuts and vision.

You defended Cook when many on here had given up on him. If it were not for him this year we would not have won a title, imo.

Both ran for more yards than Robinson (68 yards on 22 carries).
Cook and Zeus had 161 yards on 19 carries.

Not at all. I just felt you deserved props for defending Cook when so many wanted to abandon him.

That was you wasn't it? Or am I getting you confused with someone else? Two years ago we argued about him. Last year I saw he had improved in his strength and was won over and was firmly on his side this year. You stuck by him the whole time.

If I am confusing you with another poster, my apologies.

Props to Cook for improving so much this year. He was a real difference makeer. as a former Cook hater, I was happy to be super wrong about him this year.

You are correct.

I have a ban bet with redfive. It was from a thread on McIntosh where redfive was going after Cook and RD was sticking up for Cook.

Yes it was me.

Got down voted to Hell when I said he was our best RB at the beginning of last year but it's all good.

He was pretty damn good last year and it was too bad he was hampered by injuries in his first 2 years.

The running game/OL was a mess in the first half. Once a change was made along the OL, the running game started to be a factor. I was pissed a couple of times when the Dawgs would run it twice for about 30 yards, then go completely away from the run, and throw incompletions. That happened a couple of times in the 3rd quarter. Maybe more.
