More than likely its delayed because either your local probate judge is backed up or only does them at a certain time, or you will need to appear before him for a quick q&a.
GA is easy and fairly quick on your carry permits. But it's up to your local judge to sign off.
Have you ever been arrested for anything or been on a police report for a fight or anything.

I was involved in a fight where I was defending someone in college, no arrest or anything because I was in the right, but they still questioned me on it. I was pretty surprised it even came up. There were numorous people there that the judge just wanted to see in person. After that, got it in less than two weeks, and this was shortly after sandy hook, when they were backed up.
The good thing is you haven't heard anything, they will tell you you've been denied.

There's like 2,900 people in this county. I bet there's one damn judge. Georgetown doesn't even have a traffic light. I'll just have to be patient.

Good luck, but without looking it up, do you need a concealed carry in georgia, being that you are ex military, and in good standing? I am pretty sure they do it for current, but also thought for retired.

It takes 3 months for SLED to send your permit to you here in SC. They charge you $50 for your own background check and then take 3 months.

Just move here to Arizona. You dont need a concealed carry permit. Just tuck go

Thats cool, I'm from Cuthbert. My parents went to the lake this weekend looking for a house to buy and also went fishing while they where there.
