Will be an interesting Comparison to follow this season.......

I don’t hate Todd Grantham. But, like a lot of you, I have zero Faith in his schemes OR his coaching style at this point. And his departure is probably the single brightest UGA memory that I can think of in recent history.

And then there’s Pruitt….. who without really even needing to....has pushed all his chips to the center of the table…….and not so subtly packaged and branded himself to the fans as pretty much the antidote to all of Grantham’s “perceived” poisons and short-comings…..

All of which inevitably leads to a very interesting show-down come Fall.

Different conferences, I know……..but they do have at least two Common Opponents in Clemson and Kentucky. Maybe more, depending on how conference championship games and bowls/play-offs shake out.

Anybody bold enough to make any predictions on how these two men’s Defenses will compare next year? And what are the variables to be considered when comparing the two? Etc? etc....?

I have named my hangovers Todd Granthams because they're intense and I'm not sorry when they're gone.

Louisville's defense doesn't have half the talent that UGA's does.

Secondly, L'ville's offense doesn't have half the talent that UGA's does, which affects the defense.

The comparison is invalid from it's conception, you should delete this topic before too many people read it.

And that's a memo.

my question is, even if Pruitt backs up all of his talk, how long will he be here? I bet we're looking for another DC in 2 years.

So, if Grantham shuts down Kentucky and Clemson with "inferior talent"......while Pruitt gives them 35 points a piece, it means nothing? And there is no valid comparison to be made?

I plan to make this a weekly topic come Fall, actually.

Relax. You have nothing to worry about. Right?

What is 11 divided by 3?

I know it's not half, but..................

Tray won't be able to play because he was dismissed, has to sit out a year, right? JHC could play because that was technically a transfer...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hope not. Unless it's because of two phenomenal years back-to-back.....

You have to wonder though. THe fricker left Florida State coming off a national championship.

Good Question: What's his angle?

Neither Shaq, Tray (if he goes there), not JHC would be able to play this year. They would all have to sit out a year. Transfers must sit a year as well as dismissals (I'm like 90% on this).

Anybody remember right after Grantham left for Louisville, when Cracker/Peter Buck started floating his insider rumor about a Player Revolt?.........something about Grantham holding grudges..........and how parents got involved, etc?

And yet, Grantham's players seem to be pretty fond of him don't they?

I was thinking about the exact same thing this week.

But it was in the opposite context, about Grantham playing favorites, and it appears his favorites are still his favorites, and weren't necessarily Pruitt's favorites.

WOuld it make you feel good to watch Grantham fail at Louisville?

Imagine if UGA shuts out Clemson opening weekend....and then you are lying on the couch on Monday night of Labor Day sun-baked and hung-over from the weekend............and then Miami hangs 45 on Louisville............

Describe the spring in your step come Tuesday morning, please.

So, Richt spreads the entire deck of cards out on the table, and you pick the one he wants you to???

Richt vs. Christopher - 1 to 0..............
