can't think of the last time we dominated like that
Wasn't the 34-0 beating of the SECe champ in'14 pretty dominating?

It started in 64 with Munson... since he came on board, we were taught that the next team we play is just too good for us.

God I glad you're not part of the program. Step aside, loser. You have no power here anymore.

These coaches shite the bed last year a few times. Once against Tennessee. You'll have to excuse a few people if we're cautiously optimistic instead of full on drink on Koolaid.

Ole Miss was the only game that immediately comes to mind that stunk of the last regime. GT, Vandy and Tennessee came down to a single play each, and we were on the wrong side of it.
I'm willing to give Kirby and company the benefit of the doubt, but being cautiously optimistic is an understatement.
12-0 is still on the table, but you can't get to there without passing through 5-0 first. 5-0 isn't an option if they forget to show up Saturday.
All that said, UTk and Florida's ability to get up to play UGA every year will never cease to amaze me.}

People that think past seasons' results affect the current season's results are pretty dumb.
Were you around when we went 1 and what, 13 against Florida? Through what 3 coaching staffs? What happened last year does matter because teams develop a culture of winning or losing. Some of those years UF wasn't better than us they just expected to win and we expected to lose. All of that ain't out of our system, by the way....
Organizational culture is based on experience. If you are accustomed to shitting the bed when it happens it isn't enough of a shock to prevent its happening again. No, players change and coaches change and situation changes but culture is nearly impossible to change. Anyone who doesn't think that what happened in a game last year has no bearing on what happens this year hasn't watched much college football. A game of high emotions can't help but be influenced by history....

I think it's a combination of them playing well and Georgia playing like arse. Kind of like LSU and MSU was this season.
And I understand that the Vandy game was one possession...but it's Vandy. Any loss to Vandy is shitting the bed.

It's the same reason we always beat Auburn.
Perfect example....previous years results have a ton of impact on current year performance....to deny this is to deny the mental aspect of sport which, as Yogi Berra said, its 90% mental and the other half is physical......

It's cool. You think this team of different players and coaches will " shite the bed" because a totally different team did in the past. That's fine. You are entitled to your opinion. It just means you are dumb and lack reason.
There is no reason in the emotional aspect of sport. That's why it is emotion. No, logically last years results have as much to do with this years as a previous roll of the dice at a craps table....but there is no emotion involved in tumbling dice throwing across the felt....there is a HUGE amount of emotion on a football field....it is one of the things that makes the game great. And it is highly impacted by thinking and perception and a host of human frailties that arent controlled by logic and reason.

When it comes to UT and UF, It will take a 4-5 year win streak against both to get me to not expect the worst from a UGA team.
I don't know if even that will do it in the case of Florida...the Hob nailed boot cured me of Tennessee dread but that fricking stretch where we lost to Florida for like 75 years in a row (it seemed that long) may never be excorcised. Maybe when we have a 22 game lead in the series again......

UT sucks this year..they lost Dobbs and Kamara and a ton of their D...they barely squeaked by UMASS...whom hasn't won a game yet....I think its safe to say we have a real opportunity to go to Jacksonville undefeated..and that's not even being Disney....Mizzou sucks, UT sucks, Vandy sucks, SC sucks...none of them can handle our D...and none of them have a D...I believe we can beat the gayturds too....IMHO...our real and only test comes against GT in the regular season...then Bamam in the Benz.
Lot of people said '18 would be our year...I think the time is now.

Not exactly true - in any 2 game span, there will be a lot of the same players, same coaches, etc., so if you were badly outmatched one year, you may well still be outmatched the second. There is definitely variation from year to year, but there is also an element of consistency.
A craps roll is - theoretically, at least - completely random.

It started in 1997 when we beat uf down and then lost to auburn.
My UGACMRPTSD started in 1989 at the Peach Bowl where Coach Ray Goff in his first season squandered an 18-7 lead in the 4th quarter to Syracuse. Little did that 12 year old boy sitting in Atlanta Fulton County Stadium that day know the dark days ahead.
