we are getting a premier OL coach. if the rumors hold true, Cochran coming, and we keep Rocker or go after Rumph we can see where Kirby is taking us. He wants big, strong LOS. that's really what we need, right?

Do we know how many people turned down the OC job before we got to Chaney?

Yes, from the looks of it the Chaney hire is generating alot of moaning and groaning from fans. Me invluded but pretty much every media outlet is calling it a great hire. They say his offensive scheme works. They attributed his lack of success to weak defense. I guess we will have to sit back and watch.

that's where championships are won, add depth to both side of the LOS and have the RB's we got coming back and we have a shot again to do some damage.

I guess the biggest question is how will this hire (Chaney) affect recruiting? How does eason feel about it? Which recruits if any conside UGA because of the Chaney/Pittman hire?

All I know is I'm 4 beers into a great Saturday. GO Dawgs. May the wtf drift away 12 fluid ounces at a time.

Well maybe Cochran can get Chaney motivated to drop a few pounds will he's there.

That sounds like obama talk. It is hot because of global warming, it is cold because of global warming.

Can you people get this kid's dick out of your mouth? This is worse than reading LSU fans circle jerk over Fournette.

We are concerned about Eason at this point not so much because we don't want to lose a great prospect as because we don't have a viable QB currently on the roster and don't have another QB recruit on the radar who has the potential to contribute from day one. There's no apparent backup plan if we lose Eason. That's what we are concerned about. At this point I would tell him to kick rocks if we had a QB who was even remotely competent.

I said "they" meaning multiple outlets. I'm not a huge fan of the guy and I think we missed on this hire. His win/loss record may not truly reflect his ability due to the fact the defenses he had helping him out couldn't stop a grass cutter team. Hell I hope they are right.

If you think John Parker Wilson is better than anything on our roster you never watched him play. And he went undefeated in 2008 until the SEC Championship. And people wanted to keep Richt JUST so Eason would come.
