He has the balls to call himself "King of college football". heh I think he's the one that has bounced around on every ATL Sports talk station thats ever been. I knew it was him when I heard his Kermit the Frog voice

Ok I'm gonna defend him a little bit because I like him regardless of the dumb question.
1) He's been on 2 stations in 12 or so years. That's pretty good in sports radio. There's a lot of turnover in the business.
2) he knows a lot about college football. Calling yourself the king is a little much but it's his shtick now and it works I guess.

He's man enough to admit he's wrong...90% of talk show host in this town would NEVER do that. He's also know's his college ball...much more so than anybody else in this town including Mr Belue.

The apology was enough for me.

RD & hata9 are on it. I listened expecting to hear him try and spin it and what I heard was a guy who legitimately realized he dun fricked up. Whether the phone call with Richt was real or not, he made it abundantly clear that he was in the wrong and he knew it right after he said it. We've all been in a similar situation where we wanted to take something back but once it was out, he was going to look like an arse no matter what. to Mr. Chuck Oliver for making amends. I still listen to the show online down here in Florida because the sports radio here is so bad. With this apology, I feel like I can continue to do so.

The guy lived on the same street as me growing up. I actually think he ran over my dog, as per neighbors.I hate him, the gump's and the gayturds. He won that position from a contest on 680. Frick him and 680.

I don't believe Oliver is a bad guy, but I do think he's a pu$$y. Only pu$$ies ask questions like that after the game the Dawgs played. Oliver's a Barner. And he was overcome with jealousy that AU is such a train wreck and Bama and UGA are heading in a different direction. That's what all Barners are like if you get to know them. They're like little brothers who are always in the shadow (yea, I know they supposedly won a NC two years ago. But I count that just like I count Barry Bonds as "home run king"). Anyway, Oliver gave a weak explanation for his idiotic question, but my opinion stands. He just couldn't help the jab and he was caught with a microphone. I'd have more respect for him if he had admitted it. Time to move on and get ready to pull for the Dawgs to return to the SEC championship game for the 3rd straight year. Only this time with different results. (Or maybe '14 for some of you naysayers)
