How Richt handled the last search was an embarrassment.

In what way did he handle it badly?

20/20? You're brilliant! He was turned down by many of the same guys you guys are touting him to hire this time. You can't seem to understand that Georgia does not have everybody breaking down their doors to coach. After Richt was turned down several times many in the media, coaching circles and here thought it was a good hire. NFL experience and all that. It might have been a bad hire...I lean to think it was. But with what we had left he didn't have a whole lot of choice.

Exactly. It's easy to call it a bad hire when it is said and done and the results are in. When it happened, I don't think anybody was dancing in the streets, but I think most thought it would be an ok hire.

He also has to look out for himself in case the new DC doesn't want to hire him
