Graduated UGA in 1998 with a double major
Last game I went to was the Tech game this year. Before that was the Peach Bowl against Cincy. Try to get to a few games a year.

From Athens. Went to high school in Oconee County. Received a BBA and Masters degree from UGA in 2001. Been going to Dawg games since I was old enough to carry my dad's stadium chair.

My wife and I both graduated from Georgia. Both of my parents, one sister, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles (one played on Vince Dooley's first team)all went to Georgia. My grandmother went to the Normal School since they didn't let women go to Georgia back then. My great grandfather taught Ag at Georgia in the 1900's.

Born in Royston, GA, and live on Lake HArtwell. I went to my first UGA game in 1979 against TCU. Still had the grassy noles at the end of the stands. It was raining some that day and remember sliding down them with other kids. I played baseball @ Palm Beach Atlantic University in the 90s, and my brother played linebacker at Texas Tech. Been to so many Dawg games, That I couldn't count. The Hobnail boot game was probably my favorite and most memorable. I'm a collector of antiques, arrowheads, glass & pottery that are mostly Georgia oriented.

Born and raised in Powder Springs, went to Harrison.

Went to UGA from 1998-2003, after which moved to Orlando for about 13 years. Moved back up to Acworth about 4 years ago with my wife and kids. Love being back in Georgia!

Born in Norfolk, Va. raised in Albany, Ga. Played HS sports, and was recruited by VD, but a bad knee put a stop to any hopes of attending UGA. Served 20 years in the Navy Seabees (Naval Construction Force), and 24 years as a civilian for the Department of the Navy. Became a Dawg fan in Jan. of 1968, and will die a Dawg fan. We have attended many, many games over the years, and have met some wonderful folks. I will be retiring on Jan. 28th, so I start a new chapter in my life. We have 2 sons, and 4 grandchildren. Life is great!

Born in the NYC Jersey suburbs and moved to Savannah when I was 3. Mom is still (at 80) in the only house I've ever known.

Transferred to UGA in 1990 and graduated with a BBA in '93. Moved to St Simons for 2 years chasing a career in professional golf and then moved to Atlanta in '95. Sold out in '08 and moved to 20 acres in Floyd County that summer. You could not dynamite me off my property to go back to Atlanta.

I currently live in Jonesboro (henry County part) in the Lake Spivey area. My wife and i just bought a lot in Ellijay and plan to build when she retires and move there.

I did not go to Georgia, but my daughter was in the Honors Program there and graduated with a double major.

I became a Georgia fan in 1979. (Yes, I am ancient)

Interesting thing. I also was born in Baton Rouge and grew up an LSU fan, but switched over, and never looked back. Baton Rouge is a good place to be FROM. I wouldn't go back again. I say again because my family move away when I was 6, but I went back as an adult with Delta Air Lines and worked at the BTR airport for 3 1/2 years. I still have family there, but will resist ever going back there.

ETA
I will say I have a nephew that married a Georgia Cheerleader and she also became a Falcons Cheerleader for a time. And no. I will not post pics of her. But she is a beautiful girl and just gave birth to her 3rd child.
My nephew also played Baseball at Young Harris and roomed with Nick Markakis, so his wife and baseball is is his claim to fame.

Grew up all over including Germany, but my family was from GA and SC. Lived in the old Mac and Graduated UGA in mid 80s and then again for grad school. Wife is a UGA grad. 2 of my kids graduated UGA. I sold my company, retired and came back now twice to help run it. We have jobs all over the globe, so I travel a lot. Don’t mind it. I live in SC and Florida, but more in Florida since the pandemic.

Born and raised in Rome, Georgia. Attended the University of Maryland. Basically just had to choose between colleges available on base. Almost went to Oklahoma. Live in Valparaiso Florida across the bay from Destin. Separated from the USAF and remained here working as a GS at Eglin AFB. Was raised as a Georgia fan since I could crawl and yes I remember watching Herschel as a child and the National Championship.

Born and raised in northeast Ga. Started going to games before I could walk. Grew up getting season tickets with my dad and absolutely fell in love with UGA football and the campus. Graduated from UGA in 2013.

My wife and I lived in Athens and then Barrow County for the last 9 years and loved it. But then earlier this year we seized a good opportunity and moved to Sarasota, Florida. I definitely miss Athens, but we are so much happier here. I will continue to try and make it back whenever I can for games. I'm so ready for UGA to kick Bama's arse next week, Go Dawgs!

There's a 100% chance you knew my brother, especially if you ever bought weed at Harrison. So there's a 50% chance you know me too.

Hmmm....I dated a girl who was a military brat and her dad served in the Air Force. They were based in Weisbaden for a time, and if I remember correctly she went to school with Ben Zambeisi. (You young whippersnappers should look him up. He was a stud LB for Georgia back in the day) Were you a military brat?

GA native born in ATL. Moved out to the country in 1st grade….lived all over but consider N Ga my home since that’s where I went to HS.

Dad grew up in Athens…..bypass took half of Grandads farm. We have 200 years of Squatches in the Athens/Crawford area and all of dads family went to UGA…so there was only one option for college. Was there from 1989 through 1994.

Moved to SC for first real job and still live outside of Cola now. But I’ll get back….one day.

I live in Dawsonville. Originally from Stone Mountain.

Dad was a Georgia State grad. We pulled for every local team (chiefs, flames, braves, hawks, falcons, panthers, dawgs, and even the nerds). Up until 14, i had probably attended an equal amount of Ga State, GT, and UGA games.
I was at a van halen concert at 14 years old and a tech student said that it is akin to suicide for a non-engineer to attend tech. The only tech games i have been to since (that didnt include UGA) were navy games when i was in the visitor section.

For that reason, i only applied to UGA and was accepted into terry college as a freshman. I paid my way through school. I graduated in 3 years with my HS AP credits and never dropping a course.

I have 4 kids. But my 2nd child's first words were Go Dawgs. She is the high achiever in the family. Got a 1240 on her SAT just entering her sophomore year of high school so she could do dual enrollment. She watches every game with me. Knows more about football than i did when i graduated high school(and i played high school ball). Sony Michel is her favorite player of all-time (her grandmother taught her sign language and she loved his TD celebration).

I enjoyed college football in the 90s. Bobo was my first "bum" who won me over after that Auburn game. I played little league ball with brett milican.
I went to elementary school with the Stinchcomb boys. I got to watch Hines Ward and Champ Bailey. Kirby was my favorite player by the time i graduated.

I enjoyed richt. Hobnail boot, the 2 davids played little league ball together if you didnt know, and DJ Shockley was my 2nd bum who won me over.

But there is no greater fealing than enjoying a game with a child (probably why my dad took me everywhere). My oldest has probably been to the most games with me as he is a boy scout and they get tickets for a service project. We were at the Georgia Southern game in '15 (changing of the UGAs, first home game with the Krypton lights, and it turned out being Richt's last home game). My most recent game was UAB with my dad and my 2nd oldest. We had the time of our lives.

For the record, there is no such thing as a sidewalk fan. There are bandwagoners. But true fans are true fans.

First, this is a great thread. Thanks OP.

My path to UGA fandom was a little different than most of yours...

I grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and came to UGA as an International student in 1988. Had never seen a football game until then, and during my time at UGA went to only one game. Was too busy working at Gumby’s delivering pizzas to support myself and cramming classes. I graduated in 1992 with a BBA and a MAcc.

Went to NYC for my first job (I love big cities ) and ended up moving back to ATL after a few years, and that is when I really started getting into UGA football. Hard not to with all the Alumni in the area. I even got my self a “Football for Dummies” book so I could understand the game better.

After attending Emory for my MBA, I spent a good 15 years in Atlanta and the surrounding areas as an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry, and now live in NYC where I run a couple of hospitality focused businesses.

I watch nothing as intensely as a GA football game. My wife says she has never seen me sweat as profusely as when I watch the Bulldogs play, not even after a work out! I know I will be off the charts next Monday.

Would love to see that championship trophy in our hands....Go Dawgs!!

Born and raised in NOLA, attended UGA in late 90s. Favorite UGA game while I was in Athens was the Tennessee game to break their 9-game win streak (kids dont understand this). Least favorite games were the Jasper Sanks run at the 1 yard line to lose to Auburn and the Terrence Edwards drop to lose to Florida. Went to the 2018 Rose Bowl - my favorite live sporting event experience of all time. Favorite UGA player was easily Boss Bailey although both Roquan and Nakobe have tested that at times.

Teams I hate the most (in order):
Florida (Lost all 4 when I was in school)
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
SCar
I am truly indifferent to Georgia Tech. It's like they dont even exist to me.

One problem I foresee in the future for me is that I actually think really highly of Billy Napier. I hated Dan Mullen so much, it really made it that much more fun to kick his arse.
