I honestly don't have a single memory of watching Georgia without Richt on the sidelines. So if they do decide to tell Richt to step down its going to pretty unreal to me.

Same. I'd be pretty weirded out.

Pruitt is a motherfricking warrior. A throwback to Erk. Hardcore and doesn't give a frick.

And he's 8 feet tall and shoots lightning bolts from his arse!

Jesus man...lets don't Saint him just yet. Did you watch the TN game?

It's not the offense's job to get the defense off the field. If the other team's defense can get a stop, then yours can get one too.

Do not underestimate how unbelievably easy it is to stop our offense.

The o plays a role in how well a d can play, and how many points are given up.

I would rather feel weird with hope than normally hopeless like we do now.

I agree about Schottenheimer. He's gone. Dead man walking.

The Pruitt rumors sound like they could be true too. ABout him being unhappy for whatever reasons and stirring shite up with coaches and staff.

What happens if we lose both coordinators? Squatty is fired and Pruitt takes another job...

All signs continue to point to Richt going down with the ship and regime change to me.

This is how I see it. At this point even if they win out we can't go back to this same staff. Frankly, is this staff really worth another rebuild? Have we not beaten this horse enough?

I just cannot see a good justification for enduring this one more year. Which is why this article bums me out because it only adds to my suspicion that UGA will absolutely cast Schotty as the scapegoat

Schottenheimer has been terrible every where he's coached. After watching his idiotic play calling I can't wait to see him go.

Same here. It's ridiculous he was hired to begin with but I wanted to believe that maybe his inability stemmed from it being NFL defenses he faced and his lack of a QB. He still has no QB but this is horrid. Maybe the rumors are true that Richt has stunted his offense but regardless Schotty can't come back. He has lost all credibility.

But I think the problem here is beyond Schotty now. One thing we aren't addressing is how much credibility Richt has lost. If he comes back then how easy will it be for other coaches to once again point out how we have a lame duck coach only delaying the inevitable?

Can someone catch me up on the rumors about Pruitt? I've been busy so I haven't been keeping up.

DawgNation Daily quotes SI and 3 names

Sports Illustrated says of Richt is let go, the higher ups should have one of these 3 ready:

Brian Kelly (ND), Jimbo Fisher (FSU) or Dabo Sweeney (Clempson)

Being held hostage by the recruiting class per Bleacher Report.

Schottenheimer is replaced with a non-idiot I will not be completely bent out of shape if Richt stays.

How will you feel if UGA wins the remaining 4 games and wins the bowl game finishing with 10 wins and no changes in OC and HC are made?

They would in a second. Georgia has more resources than than Florida State in every aspect, and is closer to more fertile recruiting grounds than Notre Dame. Look at the job security Mark Richt has had for fifteen years. Georgia could get just about anybody for the right price.

I don't give any credence to BR but I can see them wanting to keep that. Still, problem is there always be a recruit or class you want to keep. Problem is, as I said, damage is done and even if we get Eason we lose a lot of leverage for the rest. It'd be hard to rebound with a Richt departure but it was never going to be easy.

What a joke of a list. Those jobs aren't beneath ours.
