Except Pittman just tweeted that he had a meeting set for 10:30 am to meet his guys and it's not true what BB is saying about leaving town without talking to them.

According to Pittman, he had a meeting scheduled for them this morning, but Bert pushed it last night.

LOL, each fan base has its perspective, keep in mind that Pittman didn't have a "non compete" clause because he promised CBB he wasn't leaving to go anywhere. Hi wife teaches at a church and leads bible studies weekly, his family was settled in at the NW Arkansas area.
He is a good recruiter, good coach. He refused to meet with the players to tell them he was leaving, as Bret did when leaving Whisky. Bret went to the players as a group, and gave them an opportunity to see him face to face, individually if they desired before he left.
Pittman refused to do so, so Bret took the players to his house.
So you eagerly eat up all the shite bert feeds you with no questions asked. Congrats on being a good little arkansas koolaid drinker.

which may be true, the absolute truth is simple. Nobody knows except those two for sure.
What I do know is the players were tweeting, texting friends as this was developing and they were really hurt by it.
Very, very unexpected by all involved. CBB and the Pittmans hung together all summer at the lake on breaks, took trips together, etc. I am sure there is some feelings of mistrust there perhaps by both parties. As is normal once these relationships form and are broken. From some of the names I am hearing as a replacement, we hopefully will be as good as we were with Pittman.. we shall see.!
As for Chaney... I will be blunt here at the risk of offending some of you perhaps.
Good God he sucks. Even Pitt is not seemingly upset that he is leaving. He really is terrible. Is he your OC? if so, not very smart of Smart.

Its not sour grapes on my game dude, it is a business to these guys mostly. All about the benjamins...
Congrats on the OL coach, heck of a coach and recruiter....
Sorry for the OC, good luck with that. again... From my perspective. FWIW

Well your first post backed Bert's bullshite to the hilt.
Nice to see you back-peddling into something closer to reality.
You think Pittman was born an arkansas assistant? Or maybe Bert swiped him from some team because he was a heckuva recruiter and coach and Bert thought Pittman could help him?
Then, when Pittman leaves for a better situation, more money, whatever, Bert pulls a typical bert and has to show his ample @ss. Pittman will have a lot more class than that in response, no doubt. But it won't be hard, since Bert is a lot of things, but classy ain't one of 'em.

Fat arse Bert is the greatest 7-17 coach in SEC history.
Truett-McConnell has the same number of SEC titles as the Razorbacks. Arkansas is such a fricking joke.

Sorry, Rev, but if we could've taken Enos and Pittman both, we would have in a heartbeat. As I said in another thread, that fat frick Bert's ritual suicide would have been gravy.

Homerism is in both of us brah! And, no... Bret didn't steal pittman from anywhere.... He was fired at Tenner at the end of the Dooley regime. Bret gave the man a great job, some security, and teaching. Bret has had great Olines everywhere he has worked, as Oline coach and as HC at Wisky. Pittman was Unemployed.
Bama came calling, and he stayed at Arkansas after a raise and an extension. It has been Jeff Long's policy to have a non compete clause for the SEC. Pittman talked CBB out of it by saying, As per Jeff Long (Chairman of the college football playoff committee and viewed as being honest and credible) because "He wasn't going anywhere"
Now continue if you wish. I am glad ya got him if he wanted to leave. It is business as usual. Coaches will use their kids, run them into the ground to get wins and $$$. Obannon ring any bells?
Do I believe Brett over Pittman? Yes, because I choose too. Hell, who knows, they may both be lying.. But just because Pittman is now associated with GA doesn't mean he is incapable of being a liar ... doesn't make him one either.
Tenner to Arkansas to GA... see how long it lasts. and again, GOOD LUCK with Chaney.

First you say this:
Then you say this pathetic line:
Then you say something a lot closer to what you know is the truth:
Then you throw in this bitter line:
And you end with this gem that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but serves as a passive/aggressive insult so you can be an @ss and still feel good about yourself:
So please just admit you are being a lame Arky homer who will believe whatever shite bert decides to feed the hogs/lemmings that will willingly believe whatever that fat d-bag says as long as he continues to win two SEC games a year. And that you're bitter that Pittman left because it shows he probably realizes bert's a fraud.
I mean, just admit it dude. We all see it, so it's not like it will be news or anything.

I wish Narduzzi was that pissed. Does Bielema think that Arky is the premier program in the SEC and coaches dream of landing and staying there?

The Arky fans on tRant are taking this really hard. They really can't believe their precious OL coach would leave them.

I still can't believe the coaches sign a non-compete clause? What a bunch of garbage. I bet Pittman is glad he convinced them he didn't need one in his contract.
