So far I like this guy better than what Brooks has become.

He gave a good explanation for why we were outnumbered on that first failed 3rd down.
It didn't make sense to me why we threw a screen on 3rd and 8 when we didn't have numbers.
Man coverage was supposed to carry the extra defender.
But the defender looked lost and basically blew the play up by standing still.

I don't think anyone could watch that and not come out with a better appreciation for how well Carson is doing as a new starter.

Brooks was/ is a wanker. If you can accept or get over that, he knows what he’s talking about.

I think the Brooks guy, other than being Transracial and making hid stuff difficult to listen to, knows football, but occasionally makes some assumptions. When you watch another team’s film, you can guess what they were doing, but do not know for sure.

This attention to detail from Brooks is just stupid good.
Start at 9:10.
Go to 12:24.
I don't care if he is purple, singing songs I've never heard, and swaying to music that I can't hear. His brain works in a special way when reviewing tape. He's making money doing something that he is damn good at.
I've disagreed with him on a couple of concepts in the past. But that would be nitpicking 2 individual linebacker plays out of 2.5 years of film.

Ya, I watched a few and he does a solid job. Just have to remember he doesn’t know the plays for sure, but can give him credit for having a football mind.

Nice video.
The guy does a good job and yea, he obviously feels that Beck has a good handle on the offense and is making good decisions and good throws.

I watched the entire video and Brooks does a great analysis. Would have been nice for him to have gotten into the 2nd half with more positives on offense and defense.
Bottom line: Rattler and their offense played well in the first half and our offense was sputtering.
My main issue with the offense was not coming up with winning plays on 3rd and short.

He got into the 2nd half more on his Patreon account.
He is primarily a public content creator, now.
His primary content used to be behind paywall and I think it became evident that there is no "viral" content that way. There is no explosion of name recognition.
He slaps his pay wall content together because he feels obligated to do it.
To his credit, he seems to be working as hard as Aaron Murray is getting his face and name all over youtube.
I think he woke up and realized that he has something special.
But you can be jealous of the 1%ers. Or you can work harder than them and join the club.

Not yet noted- Brooks two sidekicks annoy me. He's trying to set up some kind of Conan and Andy vibe but it doesnt work because they are not gifted entertainers.

Jonathan Williams has impressed me with his college football knowledge.
I know nothing about college football (I only follow UGA). You can tell who the degenerate gamblers are by how much they live in the weeds of college football knowledge.
It is a slightly weird dynamic with the 2 dweebs. But it is absolutely better than Brooks monologuing for 8 hours a week.
