Pruitt fan-boys are the fricking worst.....

He even begged the Bobo lynch mob to put some of the blame on him after the USCe abomination, but the 'Just Pruitt' fan-boys ignored him.....

Then came the Florida emasculation...and since then the fan-boys have come down with full-blown Stockholm Syndrome...

I swear: Pruitt's D could give up 80 points to UTEP in the Worship The Military Bowl and the fan boys would call for a coup to give Pruitt Richt's job.

By cherry-picking a few games and arguing that they represent a full body of work. Pruitt has participated in more than 2 games this season.

WTF are you talking about?

Two games kept us from winning the East!

I'm not cherry picking anything.THERES ONLY TWO TO PICK FROM DIPSHIT!

Right, because Pruitt had nothing to do with, and should receive no credit for, shutting out Clemson in the 2nd half, holding AU to 7 points, shutting out Mizzou, or forcing a defensive TD against UT in a game we won by less than a TD.

He doesn't deserve credit for any of that, but he deserves all the blame for losing to USCe when our offense couldn't do shite on 1st and goal, our kicker missed 2 easy FG's, and the ref called a BS holding penalty calling back TG from what should have been a TD.

But yeah, go on and burn it down

We dropped 2 balls on the one yard line and couldn't punch it in on 1st and goal from the 5.

After 2 DC's have coached the same defensive personnel, ever stop to think that maybe our players on defense right now just aren't that good?

Richt blundered his way through his first season screwing up left and right, even fricking away a bowl win over an obviously inferior BC team

and he got a pass...as he should have..

I'll judge Pruitt's legacy during the 3rd season..

Huh? This isn't the 'Fire Pruitt' thread. This one is different.....

Just asking people to call a spade a spade.

Pruitt's D cost us a trip to Atlanta.

Why is it so painful for so many to acknowledge this fact?

Instead, the Just Pruitt Fan Boys will make excuses for him. Excuses that they simultaneously will not allow Richt to enjoy!

It's fascinating.

It's the inconsistency that kills me. 400 to GT and UF and freaking Junkyard D vs Clemson and Auburn. There probably aren't better Dc's out there but I still am a bit disappointed.

There it is! That's called logic.

Usually only Richt gets the blame for "inconsistency". Interesting...

Earth.

But since you bring it up, how do any of us truly know? Our memory recorders don't turn on until we're already a few years old.

Do you remember being pulled from the womb? I don't.

I'll agree with you. The D could have played better. I haven't seen anyone blame Richt for the poor D play. What I have put on Richt consistently for the past 8 years is his poor decision making, poor ST play, unprepared teams (despite 3 different DC's), outdated methods (icing kickers... really?), and his unwillingness to push the envelope with the NCAA. THAT I blame on Richt, but yes you have a point about Granthams D losing a few games for us this year.

Interesting. I heard a rumor that DawgFanInCa remembers being pulled from the womb of some kind of water monster, and ever since, he's been trying to find his way back...

I'd like to hear his theories on this subject.

No kidding. There aren't a lot of nice things being said about Mark Richt right now. Finebaum was stating the similarity of Jim Donna's 5 years to Richt's last 5, and they are pretty much identical. This has already been discussed in other threads. Donnan had the same type records with championship caliber teams at Tennessee and South Carolina. Losing to Georgia Tech starts conversations. This bowl game going to be a huge indicator where this team is going into the off season.
