Seems we are pretty stacked at TE already...Was he a need?

He has 107 career receptions, that puts him 2nd on the team behind Lovett.

That's ok. He plays offense.

Very lazy take

Benjamin Yurosek

He immediately becomes the 2nd best TE on the team at worst. Going into the season he's ranked in the top 10 TEs in the country coming back and is a legitimate NFL draft prospect. You don't turn guys like that down even if the room is strong. Last year Brock got hurt - You need more dudes in the room and Yorosek is a dude. He's a proven play maker. He's also had some injury issues that really limited his potential. Has a chance to be a really good one / two punch with Delp.

I don’t know how he blocks, but his size, speed and hands will create match up problems …

None. Two true freshmen and two true sophomores are behind them. Delp and this guy are off to the NFL after 24. Luckie will play a lot and very possibly ahead of this guy.
