I'm already preparing myself for the epic line of BS they're going to try to sell us this week about how CTG has "earned the right to right the ship" next year, so when the story actually comes out, I might not vomit.

You can call Theus fat, lazy or say he's regressed, whatever. I think the problem is coaching. The kid started every game last year and played fairly well for a freshman. This year, coach decides to rotate him with Houston just cause the kid got screwed by the NCAA and he stuck it out. Basically, they screwed Theus for no good reason. Probably got in his head a little bit.

Maybe...but it seems like that might motivate him more as a competitor...I dunno

fricking disgusting. I am as happy as the next guy that we beat GT but if they REALLY think they can get away with bringing back that sack of shite then I am gonna write SUCH a strongly worded letter.
But seriously, they bring him back and I'll lose even more respect for Richt and this administration and at this point it's already pretty low. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I think Friend is a joke of an OL coach and I agree that them shoving Houston's jiggly arse out there isn't fair but Theus is also a lazy sack of shite who has regressed. So it's both.

The entire team is pathetic without gurley. These guys could not coach a pee wee team. Sorry but it is true. one excuse after another.

Grantham will likely be back and what respect that I have left for Richt will likely be gone as well. Along with what little money that I donate.

I mean I ran out of respect for Mark a long, long time ago but if CTG is back that's pathetic. Seriously, what can they possibly say that holds any water? He's a fricking disaster.
I don't even give a shite about holding on to this class, you don't change then don't expect change. He fricking sucks.

I like Mason and Conley but otherwise yep.

I've felt that Wilson is an improvement over Garner, but that bar was on the ground, thus world's easiest to raise. Olivadotti has kept the LBs hanging tough, but Grantham and Lakatos need to be drowned in the Olympic pool down the road from BDS before they left.

Yes...off Grantham first, fill him full of rocks and tie him to Lakatos ankles in the very very deep end...

Not that there'd be anything wrong with that

He needs a lifetime contract so that he has enough time to right the ship.
If he hasn't improved by 0.00000000000000000000001% in any metric, no matter how meaningless, then no eternal contract for him, though. We do have to draw the line somewhere.

Watching our game is bad enough...but then when you watch how tough USCe played Clemson and Mizzou played A&M you realize just how poor our defense really is this year.
But again...with CMR its always something. This year it was youth on D and injuries, last (every) year it was bad O line, next year new QB and maybe new D coaches/scheme...following year, new QB again and no Gurley.
You guys do realize that we're averaging 4 losses per year for the last 4 years....and came DAMN close to losing #5 yesterday? If FL and TN were playing remotely close to their historic ability it would be much worse than that.
That should be unacceptable....

I supposed the hole the OL opened up for Gurley on his OT TD run was pathetic.

You don't respect Richt?
By far, the greatest coach in Georgia Bulldog history.
And you call yourself a fan.
Consider yourself an idiot.

If Alabama follows the path charted by UGA the past 12 months, you may want to skip next season

I think Theus is a fine athlete and because I like to err on the side of the player, I would like to think it's coaching that hasn't lit a fire under his arse. I like to think he hasn't topped out on his ability. But you can't ignore that Theus has gotten the start in every game, and Houston only comes in when Theus starts getting burned and our quarterback starts getting slaughtered. Then magically, when Houston is in, the slaughter ends. I do beleive Theus has earned his starting spot, but that doesn't mean you don't get subbed out when you aren't completing your tasks.
