I thought they would get it in the end. Needed 20 yards in 35 seconds.....
And then you saw what happened.

Disagree. Anyone looks average behind that offensive line.
Agree. I don't think Ryan is quite "elite", but he is definitely above average.
Very hard to even look average behind the worst OL in NFL history.

Joe Hawley saved us. Thank God we didn't screw up our draft position even more.

Damn, that's 7 sacks with a chance for double digits. Tell me again why we shouldn't draft to beef up the Oline
Anyone that thinks we should go any direction other than OL in the draft is simply not paying attention.

Today confirmed that.

FREE AGENT WATCH LIST: The Falcons’ offensive line was typically miserable allowing nine Carolina sacks. It’s remarkable quarterback Matt Ryan escaped with all of his major organs. The leader of the Panthers’ sack attack was Greg Hardy, who had four, and if the Falcons are wondering the easiest way to get better on defense, it might be signing him. Hardy, in his fourth season out of Ole Miss, is a free agent after this season. He had a career-high 15 sacks in the regular season after a previous career high of 11 last year. Carolina would like to re-sign Hardy but agent Drew Rosenhaus is playing hardball. Go figure. Signing Hardy would strengthen the Falcons’ pass rush while weakening a division opponent.

I just don't care for Ryan. Nothing about him really impresses me relative to other NFL QBs.
