My ultimate wish would be a Patriots win if somehow Malcolm Mitchell could ball out enough to be named MVP. If MM can't be the MVP I'm for the Falcons.

It's really weird to see my two favorite teams meeting in the Super Bowl.

Having two favorite teams is blasphemy. Just shows that you aren't really a fan of either...

Atlanta could take the nearly was players from the SEC and win 8=9 games a year every year in the. I have never understood why they didn't draft more UGA players....if you are going to go 4 and 12 you might as well do it with people who can put asses in seats....

I am as capable of liking both the Falcons and Patriots as I am capable of hating both Hillary and Trump. I can also love more than one woman at the same time. Face it, I am talented.

It doesn't matter one bit where a player went to college. It matters how they fit in with the team and what they want to do. This argument is beyond stupid.

As for this comment...

They went 11-5, won the division, and absolutely steamrolled Seattle and Green Bay on their way to the Super Bowl, and they've got a pretty good shot to win that too.

Not sure if you were specifically responding to me, but I think we're in agreement. The Mack pickup happened after we 'missed' on Andrews if you even want to call it that, but to be fair, so did everyone else. Totally agree he's our best free agent acquisition in recent memory. Can't remember if we got TG via trade or FA, but probably the only guy if put close.

Yes they did and yes they do...but you gotta admit that is the exception that proves the rule....I have watched the Falcons since the early 70's when I was old enough to enjoy football and I would bet the 4-12 type seasons are more prevalent than the 11-5 ones....my dad and I had a standing bet since I was 7 or so. I took the Falcons, straight up, for a dollar every week....that old bastard made out like a bandit many seasons LOL....

It was a general statement not specifically meant for you because I remember how hard people here melted for most of the last two years about taking Beasley over Gurley when taking Gurley would have made zero sense whatsoever.

Gabriel was cut by the Browns in preseason, IIRC.
