You're just dismal over what might have been if Georgia had taken care of business. TCU had actually looked like one of the best teams I have seen this season in terms of balance between very good offense and defense but they aren't looking very impressive vs a shitty Iowa St. team so far. If Baylor beats Kansas St., Looks like it will be Baylor in the playoffs.
The $64 dollar question, if Missouri upsets Bama, which I think is entirely possible, will the SEC be left out of the playoffs? I think it could happen if FSU and Ohio St. win; Oregon is already in after owning Arizona. We could end up with:
1. Oregon
2. FSU
3. Ohio St.
4. Baylor
or
1. Oregon
2. FSU
3. TCU
4. Ohio St.
At the beginning of the season no one would have thought it possible that the SEC be left out but honestly when I evaluate the teams objectively, I consider this an off year for the SEC. The East just sucks, LSU is down, A&M dropped like a rock with Manziel, MSU and Ole Miss were obviously not as good as they looked earlier in the season, Auburn has 4 losses and Bama has looked anything but dominate in many of their wins.
Having said all of this, Bama will probably beat Missouri in a competitive contest but I would not be surprised to see Mizzou pull another one out of their arse either.

in a pretty good mood...am more interested in the ACC game tonight as I suspect it will be a better game than the SECCG. I envision repeated timeouts to cart Mizzou bodies off the field WWI style.

? If Mizzou doesn't upset bama then the SEC won't be left out. If Mizzou does pull the upset though, the SEC will be left out. They aren't jumping 10 spots unless the college football apocalypse happens later today.

That scenario is quickly flying out the window. Missouri needed this to be low scoring and it won't be. This game will be an absolute shellacking.
