What is there to apologize for? Lets face it...most still dislike richt and are still pretty upset abt how the program has been the past few years. Was a great win...but you have shaun williams to thank for that...not richt

Are you old enough to remember that season? No doubt without HW the dawgs wouldn't have won it all, but GA had a strong defense and excellent special teams. Dooley's forte was NEVER offense. Dooley was world class plodder. Used to drive me crazy how many games came down to the final two minutes.

In my opinion GA's greatest weakness historically has been average to above average coaching. Although no one was going to beat that rogue Bryant.

Daves... that was an intelligent, informed critique but the bottom line is the same.

Thanks

While hope springs eternal as a dawg fan, I don't think so even if we do win out including the SECC. My rationale is I think there's a good chance that we end up with 2 undefeated teams even if we beat Bama: Kansas St. and Oregon and possibly ND and Ohio St. I will say due to their schedule and play, even an undefeated OSU should not be ranked over a 1 loss SEC Champion. Unfortunately my prediction is Kansas St. vs ND even if a 1 loss UGA wins the SECCG; I think Oregon losses 1 of 3 tough games down the stretch.

Sandwich I have observed but not commented on your ignorant, mostly racist posts for quite some time. Richt is a fool, likely yourself in that he believes in a sky god. Nevertheless I do believe that he handles himself in a very respectful manner and I am happy to call him the coach of the football team i root for. You on the other hand represnt the dregs of the fan base while somewhat intelligent come up with the most base attacks on the man and are never happy no matter what occurs. What.

I don't dislike Richt. I've never met him. I admire what he stands for as a man. I just don't think he has what it takes to win big. Very few do and I doubt very few would like the coach, on a personal level, who does.

You would think so considering SEC dominance during the BCS era but this fact has contributed to what I will call SEC fatigue and some voters might jump at the chance to leave out a 1 loss SEC champ. It will be interesting to see how it plays out if we are faced with that scenario. This type of dilemma is why of course the BCS championship will be replaced with a 4 team playoff system beginning in 2014.

Brad Edwards, ESPN's BCS guru, says that it would probably be a lock for a one loss SEC team to be in the natty. This is due to the sec dominance over the past few years and the sec schedules that teams have to play, also, the team that wins out, would defeat at least one, if not more elite ranked teams, top five or better. Bottom line, we win out, we have a great chance to be in Miami.

Hot dangit I can post!!!! I signed up a week ago and have been reading all these negative posts by so called "fans" but couldnt post my rebuttle. Put on your big boy pants and accept that your team no matter how ugly and which side bailed out the other won this game and as champions often will have obstacles to overcome. Aaron Murray gets a win over a top 10 team the dawgs get back to back wins which hasn't happened in 20+ years and as far as I can see all isgood in dawgnation today. Hope my dawgs keep playing with the same passion as yesterday just with less jaw Jackin goin on.
