UGA is in the midst of its greatest era ever in football, and yet you are determined to be miserable instead of enjoying it.

I agree with you 100%, I’ve stated in other topics that we as a fan base are playing with house money, and it’s a great time being a Dawg! That being said this team has got to get better! The offense has started to come around from game one this season, Beck is getting more comfortable and players are coming back from injury. The defense is the issue this year. The Line is not getting pressure, LB’s are out of position and missing assignments, and there are some young players on the backend learning their role.
Their toughest test is definitely coming this Saturday, and Kirby has said multiple times over the years that Kentucky is the toughest(physically) team they play every year. Hopefully Kirby and the defense can get it figured out!

CMR PTSD is strong with us all.

I had a frickin great time yesterday watching that game. I drank 13 beers. I was pacing around on the porch ripping cigs. Yelling profanity at the tv. Whatever. I missed these games. More fun than just beating arse and putting the subs in for the second half.

We have won back to back and most of us are fanatics. We want to see our team that we love do something that hasn’t been done in the modern era of college football and that’s win a 3 peat. We scrutinize every detail about this program because we care so much. It was fun as hell on here watching that beat down of TCU but you wouldn’t know because you just joined. This isn’t sunshine and rainbows over here so I’d say quit worrying about other peoples perceptions of the team they root for because minus a few imbeciles on here we all want what’s best for UGA

Misery loves company…
Love this team. Gritty and hard as hell to beat. Every game has me tearing my hair out, but I love it. It’s privileged stress.
Beck and the O line are rounding into form and we’re getting healthier. With Kentucky, Mizzou, Ole Miss and UTK playing some good ball, we’re in for a ride.

I think we can be appreciative of the current glory days, but also still complain when we don't play up to our new standard right?
I mean just because we have won 2 championships the past two years, we can't bitch and moan? That's why message boards exist.
We could lose the rest of the games and I would still have a smile on my face from 2021 and 2022. But I'm also still going to complain in the moment. I think the difference comes in the overall feeling....no more existential doom of not getting over the hump these days. Which I'm thankful for.

Kneehigh,K9 and worst of all SC Dawg
Some of the most miserable and insufferable "fans" on this board.
Not happy unless they're continually bitching and moaning.

90% of the people on this board piss and moan from the very start. But the very second there is a good play they switch over and start suxing nuts, then on the very next play they are back to pissing and moaning, it’s quite humorous

If you watched that game yesterday and have confidence this defense has the ability to perform against the top offenses in football (Ole Miss put up 700yds of offense yesterday), you're drinking too much during games.
You're encouraging complacency. It's foreign to me how someone can watch a game, clearly recognize a subpar product, and just shrug their shoulders instead of getting pissed. It's one of the best parts of being a fan of any sports team or individual, armchair quarterbacking. You sound like an indifferent wife who gets mad at her husband for taking games too seriously.

You younger guys don't even know how great this has/will be...
Imma turning 70 in Nov and graduated in spring of '77, had a baby boy on the way when we won it in '80...
So I'd resigned my self to the fact that at least I saw 1 NC in my lifetime and they're are a shitload of peeps from other schools that never have and never will.
I bitch as much or more than a lot about this team but, gotdamn the last few years with CKS has been frickin great...

I was in the fourth grade in 1980.
The reference to Richt PTSD is amusing considering the Goff and Donnan years.

LOL.
Did ya watch OM vs a real defense on the road vs Bama? Good Lord,do you have any perspective at all? You dont think Kirby won't tighten up this defense over the course of the season?
Tell ya what Skippy,we play OM in November if ya think they come close to putting up 700 yards and 50+ points in Athens then you have zero perspective and you're clueless when it comes to Kirby and Schumann and their ability to develop and coach defenses.

We need a lot more than a good ole "tighten up" on defense. Unless Kirby suddenly learned how to make linebackers faster and DL more powerful, we've got what we've got.

I think for most is not the complaining as much as the lack of excitement. The fans that do the most complaining complained when we were not doing as well and even when we are doing well still complain and rarely have anything positive to say.
Beck can have a 70% comp rate, throw for 2 TDs, run for another one and some on here will complain that he does not have "it"...whatever "it" is. We can score 40-50 points and some will complain about Bobo. The play calling is not good, or we score too late in a game, or whatever...it is always something.
I am not pointing fingers at anybody, because I read that stuff and pay no attention to who said it.

We gave up 307 yards yesterday, with 20% of that coming in one run play from the non running qb. We gave them 7 pts on Delp’s fumble, and a short field on the int. A lot of yards gained were because Bullard was taking a wrong angle. He’ll get that cleaned up, guys will get healthy, and we make another run at a Natty. R E L A X.
