Has anyone got the notes from today's scrimmage?

East at minimum. I don’t buy bama being any better than they were this past year and that monkey is off our back….so winning the sec and another playoff appearance wouldn’t be a surprise. Repeat natty? That’s a tall order for any program. What a rare place to be in after 41 years in the wilderness… all we have to look forward to is seeing a dynasty being built in athens while Florida auburn and tech are in shambles.

Bama still has real offensive line questions, especially after Neal leaving. Their D will be really good. Had a bunch of fence guys come back. Might not be quite as explosive downfield passing without Williams, but Gibbs the rb from Tech is really good. Bryce is obviously great but I won’t be surprised if that guy measures 5’9” and a half at the combine. I think by the time we theoretically meet in Atlanta, our chances will be better than a lot think.

Haha. Take a look at Twitter. Insiders feud between Graham and Brooks. They all seemingly get their info from similar sources and plagiarism accusations getting thrown out.

It’s crazy to think a step back maybe includes still having a chance to be in ATL and a CFP birth… I’m loving this ride boys

Losing Burton and Pickens makes it make sense this year too in my opinion
we still have Blaylock Jackson and MRJS if they can be healthy don’t think that’s much of a drop off

I'd be willing to bet that he will be every bit as good.

As burton or pickens? Burton sure, they are similar type of receivers. Pickens...not sure I'd go that far.

Have no doubt better than Burton. It wouldn't be surprising to see him reach Pickens' level

Idk, I'd be pretty stunned if he got to Pickens' level. Pickens was plagued by injury so he may not have been the stat stuffer as some other guys but when healthy and playing he was in that elite category of guys that do things you can't teach. AD is really good at pretty much everythign but he doesn't have anything he does at an off the charts elite level like pickens did.

Pickens healthy was as close to Aj Green as I’ve seen in a long time at UGA but that TD catch AD caught in the natty was Pickens esque… so I think Pickens type hype for AD wouldn’t be to hard to say

Our RB corps this season will be stronger and deeper than any since 2017.

Wow.Pretty bold statement there.

Perhaps deep but still waiting for Milton to break out and while Mcintosh has talent,I'm not sure he can be as productive as Zeus or Cook.

Robinson has a huge opportunity if all the upperclassmen in front of don't have a breakout season.

For now,I'll take the '18 and '21 RB's over this group til I'm proven wrong.

As Pickens? If you add in that he could be on the field more he could definitely put up better statistics and help the team more. Pickens made several circus catches that Mitchell probably couldn't make....but being on the field more definitely counts for something.

In fairness, Pickens off the charts ability was making "impossible" catches. He probably made 5-6 of those while at Georgia. I'll take the WR that is on the field more and makes more routine catches regularly.

That said, the defense had to adjust whenever Pickens was in the game. I'm pretty excited about Mitchell, McConkey and the new guys we are getting in this year. I think they can be special as a unit.

I think the poster above that mentioned Terry Godwin as an AD comparison was spot on. Just a really good, really solid receiver that does everythign well. Catches just about everything, runs good routes, has plenty enough speed, can surprise you with an amazing catch here and there, etc. But Pickens just had that "extra" category. His catch radius was a mile and whenever the QB threw the ball towards whichever way pickens was running you got excited knowing he was probably gonna catch it. No matter how covered he was you just felt like he was gonna come down with it, and he pretty much did more times than not.

AD isn't that receiver. And that's not an insult or a knock on him at all. He just isn't as good of a receiver as pickens IMO, but to be fair we haven't had many in our entire history that have been either.
