Wake takes it 81-71.
Could've been a lot worse, but the team played hard to the final buzzer.
Not a bad performance, imo, given where we're at as a basketball program right now.

Yeah. They played well in the 2nd half. It’s also game 2. I think as the season progresses, we’ll be better than last year.

They couldn’t hit a bucket in the 1st, but fought back and never quit. Wake didn’t miss many shots. They should be able to come out of this with some positives.

Playing well so far today. Defense has been aggressive. Still feel like we are rushing 3s, but I’m encouraged so far this season

Gotta stay aggressive on offense. Need to improve a ton on FT’s. Overall, we might have a decent team this year. Roberts and Oquindo (sp) gonna be hell this year.

The freshman Lindsay is also gonna be a stud. We’ll get him built up for UK’s roster next year

Not sure how to feel. It shouldn’t have been that close, but then again, it didn’t feel close. Never felt like we would lose that game.

yeah im not too concerned about it. struggled late especially but realistically never in too much doubt.
we got a chance to be 7-1 heading into tech. instead, we will probably lose to st. joe's even though they are terrible

Hard to keep both Lindsay and Moncrieffe out. But at the same time i don’t think either can play the 5. And putting Lindsay at the 3 would mean a terrible shooting lineup
As for the guards, I’m not sure Kario and Terry can be on the floor too much at the same time. Both of them are gonna want the ball.
I like a rotation between this guard lineups:
Hill
Roberts
Holt
and this one:
McBride
Kario
Jabri
It’s tough when nobody is really playing consistently well outside of Roberts and Lindsay, but right now I think the minutes distribution should look something like this:
1. Roberts (~25)
2. Moncrieffe (~25)
3. Kario (~25)
4. Lindsay (~25)
5. Hill (~20)
6. McBride (~18)
7. Bridges (~18)
8. Anselem (~18)
9. Holt (~15)
10. Jabri (~10)
10. Etter (~8)

I like the Holt kid too… athletic. It’s really gonna come down to Roberts, Lindsay, Kario, and Moncrieffe. If we can get solid bench from Hill, McBride, and Jabari, we’ll win more than we thought at the beginning of the year. They’re a sold bunch.

30-30 Halftime… played like shite. Bucknell played pretty good and they could only score 30 points.
