Hmm... maybe he's feeling spurned? Better pay off to get Fields!

Corral just committed to UF. Don't think he would do that just days before he was supposed to visit UGA unless we don't have room anymore. That's what I'll choose to believe anyway.

That's what we'll believe!

Slow playing Corral to his committing to Florida while Auburn straight up buys off Fields would truly be the most UGA thing of all time.

That said, I think Fields is a stand up kid and his family isn't buying the Barn's BS. Hopefully this one turns out great for the good guys. For once.

Here's the way I look at it. Corral has favored UGA heavily since decommitting from USC. He was scheduled to visit UGA next week, but has since cancelled. Why is this a "good" thing? If Corral tried to commit to Kirby and was turned away, UGA could have an egg on their face, assuming Fields ends up at FSU. Now if Fields does indeed go outside the state, UGA can re-engage Corral, and they won't have the burden of explaining why they declined his verbal. Maybe I'm overly optiomistic, but this takes pressure off Kirby. I don't think Corral to UF is a done deal by no means.

On the flip side of that, maybe Fields told Corral he is leaning to UGA and MC jumped on at UF as fast as possible. Don't know, but Kirby has nothing to lose. Go balls out for Fields. I'm okay with striking out, let's go for the 10 at the bar, instead of the 7

I'm with you here. Playing it safe is a staple of UGA recruiting and even on the field. I wanna see a hail Mary

I tend to agree. I mean.., it's not like we have 2 five star QB's for at least 4 more years.

What 2 5* QBs do we have for at least 4 more years?

Fields seems to be a once in a lifetime type of player. I think we go all out. He seems like a good person too with. Good family.

Eason is here for 2. Then gone!

Fromm, I still ain't sold on, the Dawgs needs fields, he's the closest thing to DW4 imo.

Lol. I was taking his quote as having a 5* for the next four years on the roster.
Either way.... We're getting Fields
I'm well on my way to deciphering this recruitment.... Just need a few more drinks

In theory yes. Not happening though, unless he's injured. All players have five to play four.

It's looking more like a UGA/FSU battle. I've read on FSU boards that his parents want FSU, but Fields hasn't said anything of that sort. One FSU poster said he was heading to Athens after he said "no more visits" to a reporter for the Noles.
