He's visiting UNC this weekend, his best friend and former teammate is a linebacker there which makes me think it's more of a courtesy visit. Sounds like UNC is getting their hopes up but I haven't seen anybody on our end show any concern.

This should be interesting...I personally am sold on Fields but I'm not holding my breath. Corral got some bad reviews from the Rivals camp. Granted he apparently was working with little to no sleep after multiple plane delays.

Personally, I'd rather have Fields since he brings an element to the game that we've been missing since DJ left.

I'd rather have Fields too, but I'd be more than happy with either one of them.

If we can't get Fields, I'm not about to shite all over a 5* QB from Cali. Taking this recruiting brand nationwide ain't a bad thing

Fields would be an incredible pickup but we never seem to be able to close in on these DT guys.

God knows I don't want to start a coaching argument but:

Don't castrate me but I think the other QB was David Green when Shockey was here. When they were young, CMR let them battle it out on the field, used each of them wisely, and proved to be a great QB coach from the way he used them to develop each other.

No question, he coached QBs well. I'm all aboard the Kirby train though, wishing him the best. CMR basically admitted that he wanted time off.

Why would Matt Corral want to come all the way from Cali to UGA and battle it out on a crowded QB depth chart. I understand Fields coming because he bring a different element to the position and its his home state.

Steve Wiltfong just CB'd Corral to UGA. He is arguably the most connected national recruitnik. I'm beginning to think UGA has conceded Fields and put the heat on Corral. A 5-star consolation prize for missing out on a 5-star?

Is he a DT?

He's listed as a pro style, but the 247 guys say he runs a 4.7 and his athleticism is very underrated. I think he ran for 600 yards last year on top of 3k yards passing. Tom Loy says he has the strongest arm in the class.

He stated that he is choosing now between Alabama, Florida, and UGA. So he has basically decided to head east. We have a great shot at landing him if Fields tells us no thanks. I don't think we back off Fields one bit until the NLI is signed or he tells us to frick off.

Why would any five star qb follow another? Because he believes he's better than the ones already there and can beat them out. He's also considering Bama who's pretty stacked at qb at the moment. Maybe more than UGA.

I think we're going hard after both and whoever says "yes" first will be our QB this class, kind of like the Mills/Fromm situation last year. Also, Corral may be listed as a pro style but he'd be the most mobile QB on our roster if he comes.

You think he's more mobile than Fromm?

UGA's depth chart is actually appealing if you think you're a stud.

I think so, he has some very impressive scrambles/designed runs on his Hudl.

Absolutely more mobile than Fromm. Our guys on 247 are saying he has the strongest arm in this class. After watching his highlights I won't disagree.

I don't see it as absolutely. I just watched both of their films and they seem to scramble the same.

Corral looks like he has a much stronger arm though.
