That'd be awesome but I can't see him realistically wanting to do that behind Eason. Then he would be battling with Fromm and possibly a DT guy since we want one so badly. Seems like he could get earlier playing time elsewhere. Stranger things have happened though...

Looks like Micah Parsons decommitted from Penn St.

OSU probably the favorite for him right now. I think I read he's coming back in the summer though, but don't hold me to that.

USC's QB depth chart isn't very friendly either, and the fact we have 2 scholly QBs was probably pointed out a time or two. Academics are big for him and he was surprised at how good ours are, and the allure of playing in the SEC is probably playing a part. Still though, I wouldn't put any money on an elite Cali QB flipping from his local dream school to come here.

I just don't think it's realistic to expect that while also expecting to cheer for a highly competitive SEC football program.

I said I like it and wish for it. I don't expect it. I am aware that we don't run a squeaky clean program. Shoot, I would be willing to bet we didn't run one when Richt was here. I understand the realities of NCAA Football, but even when I know an institution (ANY institution) is not completely clean it doesn't change what I like and/or strive for.

USC's soph QB, Sam Darnold, is much more formidable competition than Jacob Eason, IMO. He had a red shirt year to prepare, but he's a proven commodity. Eason hasn't even begun to demonstrate that he can move, think and throw under pressure like Darnold did last season. Some of our fans may not like that assessment, but unless Jacob's mental handling of the game improves massively, he's not in Darnold's league.

Darnold is also likely going pro after this season, so he wouldn't even be a factor.

That's certainly possible, but not a guarantee. If he has another year like last year, you're probably right.

Any moment the blind squirrels will show up to downvote everyone who criticizes Kirby. This will end up being the 2013 class that single handily forced the program into mediocrity.

I wont down vote Kirby just yet. If we lose 4 games this season and end up with a terrible recruiting class, then I will down vote him all day

It would seem so..if Cox does decide to go to Blowhio then Ezzard probably goes with him. Rough start to recruiting for this year but there's still time to get some momentum back.

I haven't really dialed in yet. Typically don't get in the weeds until closer to the end of the season. But it sure seems like we are getting raided by out of state schools. Not looking good at all

We need to be aggressive and successful flipping people or this class will be pretty bad.
