any chance we flip derrick allen from notre dame if their season snow balls and kelly gets fired?

If we can keep winning and go to Atlanta, I would say there is a good chance we flip a lot of people if we want to. Kirby can flat out recruit, and if we win the East, it will answer some questions about his coaching. We need a big year and at least a New Years 6 Bowl. Then Kirby can write his own ticket.

I assume this is a different one from the friend whose father is an OSU booster and told you Zeus was going to be a Buckeye?

Salyer is all dawg. He was only going to ND on an OV for free tickets to see such an awesome event. Not sure was caused him to miss though.

I wish he had gone. Would've seen the sea of red and atmosphere of Sanford North.

I would say that's a legit reason for missing the game

I saw this yesterday and kind of had me curious... does anyone know how that works specifically. Is he still an initial counter for the 2017 class or does that open back up, then by enrolling early in Dec/Jan he is able to still "back count" to the 2017 class from a recruiting numbers perspective.

I would think since he's reclassified as 2018 that we cant back count but thats an uninformed guess

Does this have anything to do with the scholly that we gave to Goggles after the ND game?

Has anyone seen any updates/info on KJ Henry and/or Micah Parsons at all? Still early in the season, but one would hope that with the level of performance we're showing on the defensive front, that those guys might give us a closer look. Particularly with the number of guys that are likely to be gone at the end of the season.

Also, are we looking at ILBs in 2018 at all really? I see some offers that went out to guys that are committed elsewhere, but it hasn't seemed to be a priority in 18. I mostly ask because with the level that Roquan is playing at right now (KOW... assuming it continues and he stays healthy - no jinx here), you have to think he is a likely Draft loss. Seems like we'll be awfully thin at ILB if that happens. Natrez probably remains but will be a SR. To fill the other spot you'd be looking at a competition between Juwan Taylor, Jaleel Laguins, and then the two recent additions of Monty Rice and Nate McBride. Sure seems like adding one in 2018 would be a good idea at least.

Probably not. Would assume more likely to be Manac's scholarship from after he transferred mid fall camp?

Yeah, it's a fringe case for sure, but if he was an initial counter for us in 17 and 18, that kind of sucks given that it was more timing related than anything and he actually did enough to get accepted, albeit too late. If he has been reclassified, seems that we would be able to either "undo" David Marvin's blue shirt (counting forward to 18 with scholly in 17), or resign Wyatt in 18 but count him back to 2018 since he'll be enrolling early...

2018 has never been intended to be a large class from what I've been able to glean... probably capping out at 22/23, but maybe smaller yet still.

I saw where he was CB'd to Nebraska by Steve Wiltfong recently.

Not sure I quite understand why a kid that highly rated and talented would want to get lost in a sea of nothingness at Nebraska but what do I know?

I think the staff is realllllly going all out for Otis Reese. He was at the App State game instead of being present for the Michigan/Florida game, that may not mean much as Athens is closer for him to get to but it seems like he's been checking out The Classic City quite a lot lately. He would be a HUGE get, kid is going to be an absolute monster barring injury or something.
