Old man also said that we get Fields, Ford, few others that can't be named and two possible flips.....

I don't know if that's actually the case. I had heard he is a "blue shirt" which would mean he would count towards the 2018 scholarship count.

There are 2 limits, 85 overall and 25 per signing class. The blue shirt affects the 25 limit per class, where the scholarship can apply to the limit of a particular signing class. Blue shirt does nothing to alleviate the impact against the overall scholarship limit of 85.

In other words, regardless of what period the scholarship is applied to, it still impacts the overall 85 limit.

Supposedly Jamaree gave a silent commitment last night

Re Sayler- am I wrong on this? To be a guard ranked so highly he has to be a straight up stud. For example, most years the #1 center is a 3*. Guard only slightly more respected. OT is typically the only sexy Oline recruit ranking wise. He must be a unique talent.

Maybe I took out a little frustration with my last post, so I'm sorry if if I pissed anyone off. I just get tired of the comparisons. He's a short, quick black dude, so he's our next IMac.

If you watch his film, their skill sets are pretty much identical. He looks to have a little more top end speed but his ability to change direction and see the field during returns is eerily similar to iMac. They're bringing him in to do exactly what Isaiah did.

Pittman is the best recruiter on the staff imo. He's had two classes locked really fast. He's almost done with next year as well. Can't remember us ever having depth on the offensive line, and I'm getting kinda old

Dell, Coley, and Schumann are amazing as well. Beamer has connections in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Coley kills Florida. Scott is gonna pull together a few and Chaney just keeps landing 5*s.

We've got to win and keep reloading on defense. We'll lose a lot after next year on that side.

Anyone here concerned about Scott missing on the big time Dline recruits this year? Or, do you think he has locked in on certain guys and isn't worried about the ones that have committed elsewhere? I think he's 0-4 on big name recruits right now.

It's been a struggle so far. Need to get Sandidge probably.

If he snags Sandidge, everyone will forget that pretty quickly

ETA: Damn beat me to it.

We saw him yesterday and again today. Still going to be tough.

This is slightly off-topic but if all goes to plan our OL could be the best in America in 2019.

LT- Andrew Thomas - JR
LG- Netori Johnson- JR
C- Trey Hill- SO
RG- Jamaree Salyer- SO
RT- Isaiah Wilson- JR

That's downright exciting
