Story of this season will be solid hitting, piss poor pitching, and baffling coaching decisions to bring in freshmen position players to pitch in clutch situations

FWIW, I did talk to somebody on the team yesterday who believes their slow start is due to the freshmen being wide-eyed and nervous. Hopefully that goes away soon.

Freshmen are showing promise but, geez, this season isn't going to get any easier. Better shake that shite off quick and start winning or you're going to be looking at a repeat of last season if we're lucky (finding ourselves after some slow games against meh opponents early only to come up short because our RPI is good but our record isn't able to cross .500)

If he hadn't done it on Sunday with Tucker Bradley coming in from Centerfield, I wouldn't have believed it when Dantzler announced it on the radio.
I know we did it with Jared Walsh on occasion but Walsh was a Senior and played almost literally every spot on the field (RF, 1B, C, Pitch, etc)
