UGA needs a stub WR for Eason this year if we want to compete for a playoff spot so who's it going to be? I think Godwin will step up and have a real good year, Ridley will be the deep threat. Who do y'all have?

I agree with you that Godwin will break out this year. However, I think Ridley will be the main target.

Ridley. It would be huge if we could get a big year out of Wims as well.

Godwin will probably have a lot of catches in the slot with McKenzie gone

Does Mecole move back to offense given our plethora of DBs?

Nauta

"Eason getting nautical on this drive!" they'll say.

"Let's see if Chaney gets Nauti on this 3rd and 5"

"He just got Naut the frick out!" after he lays out a linebacker

"Georgia needed a TD there, and Eason said Nauta problem with a fade to the big tight end in the corner."

We'll pause for station identification.

I think the correct answer to this question though is Nauta

Yea I think Nauta could be the best TE in the country this season.

Does Big Jeb get reconditioned as a slot guy to be a michael bennet "posession receiver" because I think he could excel there.

I think he stays as the #2 TE. I have more questions about how Woerner and Harris get used.

I don't know... it kinda seemed to me like Woerner was getting more reps than Jeb this season.

i think Woerner would excel in a slot role and could become a great complement to Nauta as a big target between the hashes.

With that said, everyone needs to catch the ball better. Maybe they will all be more used to #10s throws and maybe he will get a tad more touch. It sounds simple, but he needs to find the open guy and the open guy needs to catch it... that was where we lacked last year...

Woerner at the slot makes me smile. I agree 100% that he would excel tremendously at that position. Big, physical, sure catch, receiver would force more LB coverage freeing more 1 on 1 opportunities for Nauta.

We're courting a TE from somewhere who's 6'7". He's a 2018 kid, though.
