I think that's reasonable. However, I would say that most years we can find better players in other states than those ranked 15-30 in our state.

This. UGA will probably continue to recruit him, but they are aggressively going after Derrick Brown (I think he’s the best player in the state and maybe the nation), Michail Carter and Antwan Jackson. Those are the big DT’s on the board currently. I like our chances with the first two, but Jackson and his ties to SCAR are going to be tough to pull.

I haven't seen Brown but Julian is the best DT I've ever seen.

I haven’t seen either in action, but the guys at 247 are saying Brown is the best in the state. They are mentioning in the same sentence as TT. That’s all I can go on

That's some high praise considering TT is one of the best tackles to come out of the state in a long time.

Agreed. Both Mansell and Rowe are enamored by Brown. I think he has the talent, but does he have the will to be the best? TT went into the all-star camps and said he was taking his #1 spot back and he did. We can only hope Brown is the same type of player.
To be clear, I don’t want to completely ignore Rochester as a big time talent. There is a reason he is a consensus 5-star.
We’ll take 2-3 DT in this cycle and I doubt we’ll land both. At this point I think we’re splitting hairs in terms of talent.

IIRC, Jake said Brown has the best motor he's ever seen from a high-level HS DT.

Does Eason plan on being a EE? I know he's saying all the right things and seems to be all dawg, but it would be nice to have him locked up and on campus as soon as possible.
