I want to look too far into the fact that Pruitt is out on the road for us now, but I'm sure he can look every one of those kids in the eye and tell them that they will have a spot wherever he (Pruitt) ends up.

I'm hearing that Bama doesn't have a spot for him. So, would go to AU or SCU (as DC) if UGA is stupid enough not to keep him?

Sounds like Mel Tucker will be promoted at Bama, so that eliminates them. Auburn seems like the most likely destination if Muschamp is hired at USC. I just hope we do all in our power to keep him at UGA.

pruitt at auburn would suck.

I'd obviously rather him be here, but if he were to leave it'd actually probably be best for us to go to bama. It's not like they could get much better on defense and recruiting. Him at auburn or SC would definitely impact us directly pretty negatively.

A guy in my office is friends with a big time booster, drinks coffee with him every morning. Today was the first time he had given him any info on the coaching search. Kirby was always first choice. Said that Kirby was given carte blanch with his staff with one exception, no Pruitt. Apparently there is some validity to Pruitt being a "redneck a-hole."

We're slowly, and I mean at a glacial pace, showing that we're serious abotu winning football games. But this is just another reason why we're 1 step forward and 2 back.

WGAS if he's an ahole? He can coach and recruit.

Raises the giant question of who we get at DC, then.

Open the checkbook for Chavis!!!

Exactly. Unwad the panties and keep the good coach. Unless he is doing something bad to the players, let the man coach.

Gotta feel sorry for USCe having to choose between a redneck ahole and a psychopath.

Exactly, does McGarity think there is not another ahole employed anywhere on campus. Take the bad for all the good he can do for this team

So if USCe hires someone like Riley, is there still a chance we get WM?

I'm pissed about the whole Pruitt thing but if we can get WM I would be okay with it.

If Pruitt is gone why in the frick would they let him be out on the road recruiting? It makes no sense. I could see him sticking around till after the bowl game to uphold some part of the contract, but no way they let him go negative recruit. I think he is staying.

I heard this from a friend who is a big booster as well. Said the reports of him causing trouble and not getting along were accurate. So, I guess there's something to it. Still hate to lose him.

Three 5*'s we'll be in on with the Smart hire...

Five-star linebacker Lyndell Wilson (Montgomery, Ala./Carver)
Five-star defensive end Marlon Davidson (Montgomery, Ala./Greenville)
And five-star linebacker Ben Davis (Gordo, Ala./Gordo Sch)...

per 24/7....

With Wilson being the most likely. It is pretty late in the game for Davis and Davidson but with Kirby all things are possible.

Davis visited and said he has family close by and that UGA is one of his top schools. The leader for him was Bama by legacy but I believe we have a great shot at him with the Smart hire and possibly some more staff coming. Davis said last month he is "eager" to get back on campus at UGA.

Davidson is an AU commit so i'm not sure how Smart hire would affect him. I only see the Muschamp rumor being in play for him.

Ugh WR coach Zack Azzanni is being reported as a candidate for the Terp's OC for DJ Durkin. That could help us stop the bleeding of WRs up 75N.

The administration at Georgia needs to take the corncob out of their arse.

Pruitt lost his shite because he was working with an incompetent offensive coordinator who couldn't get his offense to convert a third down while making a million bucks a year. I don't blame him for losing his shite. Losing to Florida was fricking unacceptable, and he knows it.

We should all be thanking Pruitt right now, his behind the scene shite storm had something to do with getting the ball rolling on changes.

The guy gets its done, and his players love and respect him. That is a win win win IMO
