Archer is putting on a show.

Jaymest with 4 rushing tds in the first half. Could of had two interceptions. Dropped one that hit him right in the hands, coulda had the other if he got his head turned around.

KD is just on another level physically. Just throwing guys off of him eveytime he touches the ball. 1 receiving td in the first half. Intercepted a fake punt. Also he's wearing UGA gloves...

Any idea what's going on with Marquez Callaway? Kipp and 2 of the UT writers put in CB's for the Volunteers. I assumed Notre Dame was the team to beat. Is he still hoping to play basketball at the next level?

You're not kidding...that team is beyond loaded.

Sorry, dont see any 6A team in the same league.

Was it the Singleton kid who committed to Duke?

Yes. Thought we had a decent shot. Can't win them all, I guess.

Watched him in last year's...kid can play and obviously smart. Not a bad choice to play for Cutcliffe if you're going outside the SEC.Best coach in the ACC IMO.

Shoot, I bet there are a few teams that they'll have trouble with.

There are plenty of 6A teams in the same league as Archer.

Sorry, thought you were repsponding to my post about the kid comitting to Duke.

Nah,still don't think many teams could hang with em...might get upset by a Gwinnett rival sometime in the regular season but dont see anyone in the same league.

I guess Colquitt or MIGHT have something to say but still don't have Archer's talent.

Watched Roswell and Lowndes last nt and both supposedly top 10 teams...both would get run by Archer.

How did Brown look last night?

McEachern plays at 8:45 tonight on fox sports south. They have big Julian Rochester and 2017 qb commit Bailey Hockman.

Colquitt, Roswell, McEachern and maybe PTR will give them a great game.

Freakishly big, very strong and athletic. His technique, however is terrible. He stood straight up on every play. He's strong enough to throw the lily white, 6' 200 lb OGs out of the way but I hope he takes instruction well because he's gonna need it when he gets to the next level. I'm no genius when it comes to football but he was getting stopped dead in his tracks when he got double-teamed by those same OG and a tackle. When he meets up with someone his own size I'm curious to see how he does. But man is he big. He looked like a cartoon character on the field.

Like I said, I'm no football genius so maybe when he was supposedly getting stood up by the double team, maybe he was just maintaining gap responsibility om case there was a reverse? Maybe when he was standing straight up it was just because he knew he could throw our guys out of the way and go wherever he wanted? I don't know, but he just didn't play like the way most kids are taught? Maybe against better competition he'll look more like a traditional defensive tackle looks.

That's typical of guys that size though. They've never really had to work hard to beat the person in front of them. You just hope when they get to college that they'll turn it up a notch. Most do, some don't.

Edit: Although, if he's going to be rated that high you would think he'd have better technique and effort.

That's what surprised me the most. If he's that highly rated I assumed all that would be addressed. When I was watching him, I couldn't help but think there's no way Trent Thompson looked like this in high school last year.

No lose situation, really. Good coach, good education...if he is good enough he can go to the NFL, if not he is ready with a Duke diploma. Hard to argue with it.

It's early in the season. There is still some time for them to refine his technique. But standing straight up is NEVER good for a DT. Even when maintaining gap responsibility he needs to stay low. However, most people on any level can make a difference while being double teamed.
