If we go 4-3, we have to win 1 in the SEC tournament. If we finish 5-2, we are in.

Our RPI would be good enough, but 4-3 down the stretch then 1-2 in the SEC tourney would leave us with a sub .500 record and ineligible for the tourney.

Thats why we need to go 5-2, would guarantee us a spot in regionals. No chance if we go 5-2 and lose 1st game in SEC tourny they would turn down a top 30 RPI team.

Right, 5-2 gets us in for sure. I was just responding to this:
We would definitely not get in in that scenario. That'd mean we closed the season 5-5 (remember the SEC tourney is double elimination once you win your first game) and we are currently one game under .500. We aren't eligible for post season play with a 29-30 final record.

Dawgs win Game #1 7-4. Kieboom had 3 hits, Curry had 2 HRs, and Kevin Smith came in in the 7th to throw 5Ks.
Game #2 is at 5:30PM and we MUST win this series. A sweep would put us in very good shape
