I also imagine getting a chance to learn under CMR and Schottenheimer is attractive for a young guy who might like to stay in football even if it's not as an NFL player.

He gets an opportunity to compete for a starting spot as no one is ahead with a new OC. Maybe he was behind someone at Cal that was getting the automatic starting spot.

I'm sure he understands that it's a long shot to see playing time as a true freshman. But he's willing to compete at a top program and you have to like that attitude. He'll get a chance to show what he can do with some coaches that have taught some of the best.

I was just trying to think of some likely scenario a kid would go across the US to probably sit the bench for a few years...

He knows he's going the Show so he wants to learn from the best to be a great coach. Or he's just seen the poon walking around Athens and wants to be part of that scene.

At least I know one thing that will happen on NSD. If Slayton goes to Auburn, DGD is getting a fricking sock party.

Yup...Tenn. is done at 29 unless they can reel in Richmond. They'll make room for him...

Per Rusty, Jake, Lowndes, and others on 247; UGA is looking at making sure of getting at least 30-31.

Yeah Ekeler tweeted out, "Almost time for 23 DAWGS to jump in the boat and turn Athens upside down!!!" So I agree that with 8 EE's that would make 31. Can't wait to see what we end up with. It's like Christmas for Dawg fans lol

Was Boulware the guy who took pics with Richt with all the UT gear on? I ask because he's the most likely to get processed out should they get Richmond. The other guys below him are all Tennessee kids and you don't shite in your own backyard.
