Mom was the one that went with Van to Ole Miss, so it would be her that wants him there. Personally, I think Van and his dad are waiting to see what happens with Bobo. Dad wants Ramsey and Eason getting Van the ball.

Looks like the writing is on the wall. When you have a recruiter out interviewing for jobs regardless of the reason it doesn't sit well with parents.

We will see what happens but when momma ain't happy, no one is happy so we might be screwed.

Never felt confident in his recruitment anyway.

Dad is a former longtime nfl player and coach. Money wouldn't be the reason

Oh, in this case, I agree. I was just taking another swipe at Ole Miss because they're a bunch of corrupt bagmen.

I dont see how a WR wouldn't want to come here this cycle. Perfect time to come in and start right away , and then you have the top notch QBs and a pro-style offense that has been breaking records left and right.

If he flips oh well.

Hearing UGA is suddenly showing interest in Brad Stewart of Benedictine after his great showing against GAC and Micah Ab at state.

The Fall back plan.

Stewart is not even on the same playing field as Jefferson as a talent.

UGA offered UAB transfer ILB Jake Ganus. Taking an OV tomorrow.

I don't know how that affects the numbers, but some were saying that he would only count under the 85, not against this recruiting class.

Eta- he had 71 tackles and 6 sacks this year

What is the deal with the UAB guys, are they going to be able to play right away or do they have to sit out a year like other transfers?

This is true. Wouldn't count against recruiting, only against the 85 scholarship limit

They can play right away. They have no limitations because their program disappeared.

They can play immediately.

UAB profile

I like that he's played safety. We need ILBs that can cover

I believe they could petition the NCAA and have a good chance of playing right away. Not your typical transfer; their program got dismantled from the inside out without their prior knowledge.

OM has a better fan base? Apparantly you don't look at this site too much...or around, either.

If he is as athletic as advertised it sounds like he could be a special teams beast, which is awesome since we are losing Vavlas.
