I agree with you on that part for sure. I have no problem with our coaching and I definitely think we are relevant, but we are one of 10 SEC teams that gets attention nation wide. There are really only 4 B1G teams that get any attention, and OSU gets the most by far (except for Michigan when they are good.)

Meyer has been ther for what? 2 seasons or 3? He will need to show significant improvement in the next couple or they will be searching for a new coach. Ohio State is quickly going down the road of Notre Dame. They get respect based upon past reputation. At least ND is making somewhat of a comeback by having a couple of decent years, but both are still perceived weak by most besides the media. Just my opinion. Either way this is the ecruiting board, and I shouldn't have gummed it up with this.

Michigan
Completely agree. CFB in general is better when Michigan is good. Same for USCreal, Texas and even the glowing dumpster fire that is Tennessee. There's a balance that is achieved when most of the marquee programs are at the top of their respective conference food chains, and shite gets legitimately wonky when that balance is upset.

HS kids know that tOSU is, at least for perception's sake, a Top 10 destination. This is how Corch Irvin Maya can pull kids that would usually go to SEC programs otherwise.

Let's get this thread back on track....

T. Thompson has 74 tackles and 30 TFL on the year. That's fricking insane.

Justin Young is also having a monster season

Justin Young absolutely killed us when played. Have no idea how he is not a 4 star. Mykelle McDaniel also killed us but he is going straight to JUCO. He has taken only one semester of a math class in his 3 years of high school.

Yeah it sounds like Young is just killing teams

Sorry for straying us off topic. 30 TFL though... That is absolutely nasty.

Don't shoot the messenger, but a few analysts and crit on 247 have hinted that Roundtree may not be a take for UGA. Rusty is looking into it

This is mostly speculation imo, but he has had a rough senior season so it's possible

Tons of talent at DB for the taking this cycle. Wouldn't surprise me, but then again we just need bodies at those positions so I wouldn't turn him away unless we have a bunch of silents and are running out of room

I feel like they'd have to feel good about someone like Ronnie Harrison to turn away Roundtree

Preparing the excuses early for when he heads to OSU

I'd hope they feel good about both Harrison and Jackson. Like I said, we have schollies to use and Roundtree is still athletic enough to be worth taking as a project. He won't plug and play but our starters at Safety next year should be pretty solid anyway

I promise this isn't me making excuses. I think he's a little overrated but would still love to have him with his potential. I really doubt he's not a take, personally

Those are both from Duke writers. They're saying his dad wants him to go out of state, which others have mentioned too

Duke seems like a trending program and I could see him there. We need more bodies at CB than Safety imo.

I think Sanders is gonna be starting at FS for awhile.

I'm assuming that means he has some friends that his parents want him to get away from. If that's the case, probably best for us and him if he does what dad wants.
