Interesting little tidbit from Rusty during the ongoing recruiting chat he and Jake are doing on 24/7-He thinks as of right now that Rico McGraw will win out over his parents and coaches and still sign with UGA in February.

Other nuggets include...

-McFadden is really feeling UGA right now. Jake thinks UGA will stay in the thick of the battle with FSU until signing day.

-Both still feel as Donte Jackson will sign with UGA. Will not commit, however, until at least after his senior season.

-Door is slowly closing on Edoga. Didn't come to Dawgnight and failed to show for the Clemson game. Pretty good indication on him per Jake.

-Jake thinks UT for Abernathy, while Rusty went out on a limb and says he thinks UGA for him. Abernathy has played this whole thing VERY close to the vest.

-Jake feels that UGA is in the Deandre Walker recruitment MUCH more than most realize.

For whatever reason I held out hope on him. Didn't take his commitment seriously at first. Not going to DawgNight and skipping the Clemson game is definitely telling, as they said. Bummer.

ETA: Was reading the article that Rusty posted on where coaches were hitting the road on the bye week, one of the posters asked about Bobo having been scheduled to go to Washington. Rusty replied saying that Eason's dad said that Bobo can save the trip, Eason is done.

As long as he stay's committed out west that's OK. At least he won't be in the SEC that way...

ETA:...Good stuff, thanks JStan..

wonder if anyone is visiting Sweat.

Last I checked, he (Sweat) is going to the VT vs OSU game.

Yeah, I believe he is on his official to OSU. I’d be surprised if they DIDN’T visit him before his official vs. Vandy.

Damn, just read on ESPN that Kyrin Priester was dismissed today from Clemson. Wasn't he a '14 WR who was committed to us at one point?

After looking back into it, he's the one. Eventually I'm going to learn to trust the coaches' evaluations of these kids. It doesn't make sense when someone's ready to commit and they politely nudge him elsewhere, but it usually comes out in the wash.

another view of McFadden:

I'll start with five-star Tarvarus McFadden, who took an unofficial visit to Georgia last weekend. First, McFadden didn't take the trip on his own dime as some have stated. He was convinced by Isaiah McKenzie's family to ride with them on the trip to see a big game. Tavares had a very good time and Georgia sold early playing time more than anything. I'm told though FSU knew about this trip for a few weeks and Tarvarus even called the staff during the visit and after the visit so there were no surprises. Despite having a great time, I've confirmed through those close to Tarvarus that the Noles are still the favorite. It's more of a battle now with Georgia, but FSU is still confident. I expect hime to take an unofficial to FSU for the Clemson game. I'm also told Derwin James talked with McFadden as well after the Georgia visit.

Well, I hope Clemson wipes the floor with FSU, then.

One thing that is key here is not only did he come but he also watched 2 of his former teamates get playing time as true freshman which is a pretty good show of faith. That being said, sounds like FSU is way out in front.

Should always want this. Most people don't realize, but a weak FSU is good for UGA.
