Because no one thought UGA would get him. He wanted OSU initially but his parents weren't comfortable with that. His dad liked UT, but Van wasn't sure. Mom liked UGA, Dad was comfortable with the scheme and Rocker being there. Van is comfortable with UGA.
Basically it seems like UGA is the only one without anything working against it.
If he commits to UGA today, that will be huge. He can help immediately.

Just went and read the article.
WOW.
Kid was playing varsity at Trinity Christian as a 7th grader. Already has offers from all the elite football powers in America. Sounds like he's already making a case to be the #1 overall player in his HS year.

I'm just not comfortable with tOSU possible getting Torrance Gibson having an influence on him later. You know Urban Meyer gonna sell that shite till the end.

Not sure why he'd want to play with Torrance Gibson. Gibson can't pass. He played WR for his 7on7 team

I wish I knew where to watch. His twitter? It mentioned BR twitter. Is it streaming? I guess I will rely on you guys to tell us in like .5 seconds after it is announced somewhere.
