re: 2015 UGA recruiting thread (commits, offers, etc)

The guys on 247 think sage is an extremely high ceiling. Apparently he has the athleticism, bend, length, height, strength, frame, intelligence and work ethic to be an all SEC tackle. He just isn't an instant impact guy because he plays in a super run heavy offense and just doesn't have much experience at pass blocking. He also needs about two years to put on good weight.

Seeing as the thread title doesn't specify football or basketball and you're the minority in your opinion, the answer is no. Sorry 5 post out of 148 pages were too much trouble for you. JFC, you can't please everyone

Other than the babble toward the end..I don't think Nytro's request was unreasonable. Honestly, IDGAF about basketball..but that's besides the point.... for the sake of organization..and we need to consider the fact that the overwhelming "majority" are intensely following basketball recruiting...by the way,,i had no idea..I believe it deserves it's own thread....lets keep our dawgrant an efficient and easy to navigate dawgrant.....what says you?

I agree....IMHO..I just think it will be nice to have a separate thread like the other team boards...so we don't have to put pieces together....just because I don't like basketball doesn't mean others can't..I think they should be able to do so in a thread specifically for basketball..

I mean..we aren't talking about some labor intensive effort to move the earth here...it's just a forum thread..

Here's the god damn problem.

Assholes with their basketball "contributions" don't say "Basketball Update- blah blah fricking blah" They just say "6'7" Gerald Washington Jefferson names UGA his leader" then I go wondering who and what the frick and find out "Oh, god damn basketball."

I doubt I'm the only person thrown off by this.

The ONLY reason this thread has value is because hundreds if not thousands of people USE IT AS THEIR GO-TO DAILY or WEEKLY UPDATE ON GEORGIAFOOTBALL RECRUITING.

Please for the love of frickSatan give these 5 or 6 assholes who give a shite about basketball recruiting their own thread, or be a man and just punish them for their pollution.

As I suggested in the other thread, how about just make a new topic every time a breakthrough or newsworthy item comes up in basketball recruiting, say once or twice a year, and the 5 people who give a shite can read it, post an emoticon or clever gif, and the topic can fade off into the distance.

Any a-hole who makes a post in this thread about basketball recruiting and doesn't say "BASKETBALL UPDATE" should be banned for 2 weeks on the first offense, permaban on second offense.

That includes if a person is responding to another BASKETBALL RECRUITING post.


As far as this bullshite about why people only follow one team from their university, most people are married with a kid or two and work 40+ hours a week and don't have time to give a frick about anything other than football.

Just being a football fan requires several hours a week of dedication.

Don't try to horseshite me into give a frick about basketball or this or that.

Take that shite to Dawgvent or one of the other UGA sites struggling for hits, they'll sticky your arse all day long, as long as all 5 of you show up and give them at least one page view a week.

This. Will have to agree with what deeprig said...there is no distinction when people start posting recruits. I want all of our teams to win, but I don't give a shite about basketball.
