Agree. Godwin's story is consistent with what Gus said on FSS talking about when he was walking out to address the media and got handed Cowart fax in the hallway and knew they were done.

Although, it wouldn't surprise me if Godwin called to decline and Gus or whoever wouldn't take no for an answer and kept pushing pushing pushing... I've worked with salesmen like that. They didn't close every deal but they never took No for an answer.

That's pretty much the scenario I imagined from Malzahn as well. Sometimes it works, but thank goodness Godwin saw through it.

Just an absolute ton of defensive players. I don't really follow these players so no idea if this is as good as it looks, but it's certainly obvious that Pruitt isn't fricking around.
