We've come a long way, baby.
Was a fun weekend in Aggieland though! Many, many hurricane/ritas were consumed. My girlfriend at the time was a lot of fun. Those were the days.

I was there. Moved from my seats to 50 yard line seats on the first deck because it was so empty.

I remember two things about that game: (1) Thursday night, and (2) Dr. Gates telling all non-B/CS folks to stay home.

The crazy thing about Yemi is that his family is (I think) Nigerian upper class and his dad is a professor or something. So he's actually not a hoodrat, just somehow got caught up in The Life... not unlike some of the kids I grew up with.

The only better parties were the night the power plant went down and the whole Brazos Valley was without power until 3 AM.

I remember this game well, or about as well as I can remember a game from the Fran era. From the weird weather to the thousands of empty seats, I probably never will experience such a game again. You had your pick of any seat in Kyle Field. I split my time between sitting on the 50 yard line and the Zone.
Why A&M decided to play this game was beyond me.
Later on, my apartment became an evacuation center of sorts for various members of my extended family.
