You predicted something bad would happen?

Honestly, I really doubt they would have been as bad had RC had one more year with Sumlin as the OC for a full season.

We lost over half the team to graduation after the 2002 season. We were so thin at linebacker we started a walk-on at Mike.

great, I still dont think they would have been as bad as they were under Fran. It was more than just the defense that was an issue his first year.

Those 8 losses were to FAR better teams in 2003.

None were by fewer than 18 points either.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I just don't think things would have turned out the way they did had RC been able to get the benefit of new facilities and Sumlin as an OC for a full year. I for damn sure don't think the offense would have looked like poop on a stick for most of the year if McNeal had gotten another year in the same O.

Did you forget that our best lineman had a life-threatening injury (Jami Hightower) and had to redshirt all of 2003?

This needs to happen on the rant

I'll do it, but I don't want to get banned before the LSU game......

If we win that game, I'm getting banned for sure

What if we had hired urban Meyer instead of Fran?

GEEEEEEZus. I love Johnny Football. I'll always love Johnny Football. I don't care if he turns outspoken communist and joins Cirque du Soleil (or however that fruit show is spelled) I'll forever love Johnny Football.

But a world in which I have to love Urban Meyer? I'd just as soon have Bo Crybaby Pelini.

RC Slocum, like Jimmy Carter before him, needed 6 months' Nazi steroids. Not for his body but for his mind. RC Slocum and Jimmy Carter were Jesus. Bear Bryant and Nick Saban be Patton.
