First Baylor, now Ole Miss.
The latest NCAA findings are out on the Rebs and it's not looking good for them:
- Most of the violations are football related
- Most of them are from Freeze's time
- Many are Level 1 (most serious)
- This is all without the Tunsil stuff, which will be investigated this summer and added to the list

i don't think Baylor helps us as much as OM, but it will a bit.
i want to go back to our 2012-2015 selves and say "yep, you're right. ole miss was shitcheating"

They were doing pretty good in the 2017 cycle right? The best part of the Baylor thing for us is it increases the likelihood of Texas keeping Charlie another year.

It was pretty obvious they were cheating back then. I kinda assumed it.

When Hugh Freeze, a:
- first-time HC
- with no public name recognition, outside of obsessive SEC fans who follow other schoool's assistants and being discussed in the book The Meat Market as Orgeron's ace recruiter
- in his first recruiting class
- was able to land multiple 5* guys from the four corners of the United States
- to Ole Miss, a school without a winning tradition, most well known for racism
You had to know it was cheating right away.
He was too obvious about it. They went too big, too fast for it to be believable.
If Pete Carroll came back to college coaching, could he recruit like that right away? Yes. If a school with a winning tradition like Alabama hired what was perceived to be a good coach, could they recruit like that right away? Yes. But a relative nobody at a losing school in Mississippi is suddenly winning recruiting wars for blue-chips from Cali to PA? Duh... they're cheating.

Chris Vaugh (Sip coach 2014-recent) is caught up in this mess too. Was he the coach that got F250 for Brandon Jackson?

Anyone have a list of decommits/transfers stemming from the Briles termination?
Rumor out is KD Cannon does not want to return

Yeah, only way for it to have worked was to slow play it. Attracted way too much attention right off the bat.

Ole Miss bag men were way over zealous and wound up looking like this:

Exactly. Buy a really choice 5*. One. Buy couple of in state 4*. Make sure you spend enough to get all of the 3*s you really want. Nice class, but nobody thinks it's crazy. The next year, after having a good first season, pay for a few more 4* than the year before and another 5*. You can justify this with your recent season. The second season, post an even better record and a notable bowl win, then tell your bag men to really pour it on. But freakin' Ole Miss, the glorious Land Mass Morons that they are, went out and bought the #1 class in the country, year 1, for a school that'd never had a #1 class before, for a guy who had never been HC before. It's almost Darwin Award level dumb.

Kam Martin said he won't enroll. Baylor now has a worse recruiting class than A&M.

Another 2017 player, Jayden Peevy (3* DT), just decommitted.

Heard Patrick Hudson will also look around. Interested to see if Stidham considers us as a transfer destination. That would be peak

Liucci the man-child called people associated with Ole Miss football "scum" this morning on radio.

The Sips believe we are in the lead for Kedrick James after he decommitted from Baylor. I believe he wanted to commit to A&M after his last visit, but a family member told him to hold off.

Hudson will not enroll at Baylor

If Baylor does not let these kids out of their LOI they would have to transfer. If they transfer the kids would have to sit out 2 years within the Big 12. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

That may be best case scenario for us

He will probably end up at sip but I wouldn't count Turner out. We can't contact Hudson but Hudson can contact us. So can JP Urquidez, another nice OT. This could get interesting.
