Coach Sumlin said this is the most talented team he has ever had while being a Head Coach.

Yet to be seen. It is definitely the most talented team, and will almost certainly have the best defense, but our defense in 2012 was decent and our offense was AMAZING. Our offense wont be as good this year so it depends on how much better our defense is than the '12 unit.

People forget just how well we were playing by season's end on both sides of the ball in 2012. We closed the year blowing out two top-15 teams and beating #1 Bama on the road. In our final five six games starting with Auburn, our offense scored on over 70% of their drives and the defense was giving up points on only 15% of our opponent's drives.

I am absolutely convinced that our 2012 team could have won the MNC that year had a few things gone differently.

I know that a preposterous sounding statement, but Florida and LSU were 1 score games in the first half of Johnny's season.
We flip one of those and we're playing an overrated ND in the championship game.

i thought the same thing. 2012 was my first year as an A&M fan.

if we coulda had uf and lsu in the back half of the schedule, we may have won the sec and btho nd.

i'm sure we woulda beat uf, lsu game still woulda been tough.

If Bertolet makes his kicks vs lsu we win that one and go to the seccg makes me shake my head sometimes. But it was a fantastic year

If it comes down to Tay-Tay having to make a 40 yarder to get us into the playoffs, I might have a stroke before the ball is snapped

That scenario might single handedly lower the average age of our fan base. Anyone over 40 is for sure done. Many between 20 and 40 would have cardiac problems from then on

i'm praying for consistency.

also knocking on wood, crossing fingers, doing a hail mary even though i'm not catholic, wearing my lucky hat that is only worn on gameday, getting down with a a rain dance in honor of my choctaw great grandmother and doing my part to keep all the voodoo at bay in the new orleans metro.

it's tiring, but someone has to do it.

this will also lead to better play from our kickers.

his walk out song for field goals should be heart attack man by the beastie boys.

they should really do this for kickers as they walk onto the field.

it's funny, but i do a rain dance from time to time when it's raining and i'm by myself (why the frick not!).

counting both sides, i'm 3/16th native american, but most of that is 1/8th choctaw from my great grand mother. i'm a member of the choctaw nation, though i've never used any benefit from that and don't hangout at casinos in philadelphia, ms.
