Watched more of the OU/ND game, but every time I flipped over, State was getting stomped. Sort of regret we opened up so much of our playbook against Auburn when we really didn't need to, but damn Johnny looks good running that option. Merlin is overrated and the Grinders know it.

this game will be tight and won by 3 or less. If State can get a pass attack opened up on us, we are toast.

We win this game by less than 10, very similar to LSU game except the outcome in the good guy's favor.
Their DB's are very very good however I think we pull it off.

As long as we control the TO"s and penalties we should win this game easily. State has a very solid D in terms of discipline but not raw talent outside of the CB's. If we just go out and execute our offense we will score and score quite a bit with going over 40 being very possible.
State will score on us and pass the ball. The key is limiting them and getting pressure on Russell while controlling the run game.

This is going to be a close and tough game. Anyone thinking this is an easy win is delusional.

I think it will be a tough game, with A&M pulling away in the second half. I could be wrong and it might be close until the very end. I wouldn't be totally surprised if A&M gets on a roll early. It is the speed and physical play in the opponents secondary that gives A&M problems. Just don't think MS State has LSU or Florida speed or overall athletes.
Of course, you were worried about LSU stomping the sh@t out of us. Never even thought that was a possibility myself.
LSU offense and A&M defense was never a good matchup for LSU so I couldn't see how LSU could score enough points to beat the sh@t out of us. Let me tell you, MS State defense and A&M offense isn't a good matchup for them either.
Great thing about college football is we get to find out this weekend.
