Bump.

The Ags went 1-18 from beyond the arc tonight.

Two long separate scoring droughts of five minutes or more (one in each half) sealed tonight's game against 11-10 Georgia.

That 1 of 18 from behind the arc almost defies the odds. Except, it seems, with us.

Folks, keep in mind that the one made three pointer was a prayer thrown at the buzzer to end the first half.

In other words, the ball accidently found its way into the basket.

So far, all my "tossups" have been double digit losses.

Just hang on for 6 more weeks CGSC, then we can discuss the merits of the new head coach....I hope.

Kennedy has had catastrophic luck here. Nothing has worked.

When we are kicking names about, are there any current assistants out there that ought to be considered?

It looks like I might have been wrong about at least one thing, to early to tell if we will drop any of the first seven, but this team does seem to have quite a few players with the ability to score.

Damn, swing and a miss on that one.

The players are completely mindfricked. The same thing happened in Sherman's last year. During the meltdowns with him, we had 5-6 heinous drops per game (we're talking passes that hit the receivers in the hands or chest), oodles of bad reads and missed blocks by our all-star OL, inexcusable fumbles, etc. In short, our players were wound up so tight that they routinely screwed up the most basic skills that they'd been executing mindlessly since middle school.

It's a symptom of bad coaching. If we hire a better coach, our FG% will skyrocket.

So far, for the two for sure losses that we've won, we have two for sure wins that we've lost, so it's still evened out.

Damn, it was nice to see the team play like they are capable of.

I didn't see this posted anywhere, but Devonte Fitzgerald is out for the season. Though the article doesn't specify, it is believed to be an ACL tear.

Fitzgerald tore his ACL in the other knee during his freshman year of high school.

Saw Brent Z post that on twitter yesterday, really sucks. Hope the kid heals well and is ready to give Bruce Pearl 100% next year.

So far, all tossups have been losses. All losses in which A&M scored fewer than 52 points in regulation and 54 points total.

Bruce Pearl would be a horrible hire for us but I'll take him (hell, anyone for that matter) over Kennedy.

After leading the game for over 38 minutes, the Ags snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and lose to the Vanderbilt Commodores 57-54 in OT.

As Yogi Berra would say, 'It's deja vu all over again.' The game at Mississippi State played out the exact same way.

Bruce Pearl is the only hire that could make me ok with not giving Kennedy the full slack he deserves.

Roger, from his point of view, a coach should be allowed to serve out the full term of his contract regardless of performance.

It's a stupid standard, but at least it's consistent.

Tough day today. Game was there for us to win, in spite of long scoring droughts in both halves.
Got beat 20-9 at the line, and didn't manage the clock well in the last 30 secs of regulation. Very very frustrating.
