Not to turn this into a religious thread, but may I ask why?
Mormons are the most wonderful and nicest people you can ever meet. I am aware of the problems some communities give its members if they ever decide to leave, but other than that, they are the nicest people out there. (And no. I'm not a Mormon. I'm a bad, bad non-practicing catholic

Mormons are nice to you because you are being recruited, much like the employees at a company/firm recruiting you are really nice and make it seem like working there is no work at all, but a slice of heaven--until you DO work there and reality sets in. Mormons are every bit as shitty as anyone else. In fact, people who are GENUINELY the most kind, wonderful people are often NOT Mormons. You've been fooled.
It's all part of the training and indoctrination Mormons receive from nursery on. I know. I was Mormon from birth. I was trained to be super duper nice to you and set a good example so you would want to be a Mormon too.
Then, we got the internet and DNA technology, and a bunch of other critical world changes that pretty much sent Mormonism into the shitter.
You would be surprised the kind of bullshite goes on in the Mormon church. I'll leave it there and not further derail the thread.

BTW, after so much of the truth was revealed on the internet, the Church was finally forced to publicly admitted that Joseph Smith had over 50 wives. Some were as young as 12 years old.

News reports are that he isn't living in the President's House on-campus. They are framing it as "we want to have the house for fundraising events." The more likely case is he wants to get away from campus and someone came up with this cock and bull story.

I honestly couldn't tell you if Gates, Maurano, or Liftin actually lived in the house on campus. I assumed not because I never saw them. Its not a huge deal as long as there is interaction with the student body.

I always kind of assumed sitting presidents kept two residences: the one on campus for appearances and a less-heralded one off campus for privacy.

i've personally known 3 presidents and they all stay on campus.
i worked at Angelo State in college in the tech department and got to be the president and his wife's own personal geek squad.
