Today they did the offensive side of the ball.

Greg McElroy picked Noel Mazzone as the best OC and the A&M o-line as the best of September.

Matt Stinchcomb also had the Aggie o-line as the current best.

"no endzone mazzone" has been a pleasant surprise. the ucla fan that joined the board for a few weeks hit some key points (mostly about red zone struggles) but there isnt a sound mind that would say we didnt significantly upgrade our playcalling.

A&M leading the SEC in rushing through 1/3 of the season, are you kidding me?

Spav just didn't have the depth of experience required to make the needed adjustments to compensate for a suspect o line or a non heisman qb

If Josh Reynolds had declared for the draft last year, we would not be 4-0 right now. He is one of the biggest assets on our offense and comes through when we really need him.

Right after the goal line stands against Arky, he pulled off a 92 yard touchdown to open the flood gates.

He showed up to play in Auburn and made some key plays including a TD.

Our last TD in regulation against UCLA was a Josh Reynolds mega play as well.

Reynolds is the man. That is all.

Reynolds has and always will be the most underrated receiver in college football. He'll make a squad every year of his NFL career and probably stick around for 8-10 years. Kid is that good.

In 2014 he was a total beast. He got some attention, but he was playing at Mike Evans level. Last year he was overshadowed by Kirk, but I would expect him to fall back into the spotlight once October gets rolling.

Nope. Nossir. Not kidding. Feels good, doesn't it?

And the fun part is that unless Mazzone was lying in the Tuesday press conference, he didn't know TK was that fast. Which I think means we'll see more of TK running.

I'm not sure if that is something we should be happy or worried about.

I rewatched the Arky game last night. Both of his TD runs were very quickly decided. He saw the hole and went for it, as Aggies usually do. Now that other teams know he can do that, they will probably start playing with a spy on him. We won't get away with that shite twice against Bama or LSU.

he does occasionally say some things in pressers that make me wonder if he is serious or just fricking w/people.

occasionally? That's basically his whole presser. Chavis takes it serious (and if you ask LSU fans he doesn't like doing them), Sumlin tells us nothing, and Mazzone goofs.

Yeah, but once would be pretty nice, right? And in any case, if the D is worried about our Olympic sprinter QB then that should open up other options.

I thought Mazzone called a helluva game. Steven McGee agrees, so I'm obviously correct.

I dunno... I feel like I can tell when he is joking for the most part.

But when he says stuff like "I have no idea what players are in there and don't adjust my playcalling to them" with a straight face it's a bit disconcerting.

Look, fast in practice can be a lot slower than when you've got the football and guys are chasing you while the endzone is in sight. New gears are found

I thought he did a much better job with the play calling on offense against Arkansas compared to Auburn and UCLA.
