What’s the overall opinion on him? I was reading something about Scott Woodward and the big name hires he’s brought to LSU. I wanted to see what opinions were of Ross, his hire of Schloss is an A+ but the extension of Jimbo is looking pretty bad as of right now and I don’t truly know how to feel about the buzz extension. Just curious what others think of him as an AD and how we feel about the moves he’s made so far

Get rid of him. Dude is a puppet who embarrassed us during the realignment saga.

Yeah that definitely was a bad look for us. I’m not pleased with how he handled that

Who do you go get if you move on from Ross? By no means am I calling for his job but curious who you think would be an upgrade

Never been a big fan of the hire. He was at Ole Miss while all of their stuff went down under Freeze. Schloss looks to be a decent hire, but everything else he's done with coaches/hires has been pretty meh. All of his talk when realignment was happening again....

Yeah, I think we could do better, just my 2 cents. But lets be honest, the entire A&M athletic department has a history of underwhelming hires/leadership, otherwise we wouldve won a national title in a big 3 sport more recently than 1939....

Pros:
-Foresight to extend Jimbo to keep Lsu from stealing him
-Hired Schloss
-The new facilities look fantastic
-Handled NIL very well
-Hired Trisha Ford & Gerrod Chadwell

Cons:
-He extended Jimbo right before the wheels came off
-He wasn't in the know on SEC expansion
-Hired Joni Taylor

TBD:
-Extended Buzz

Woodward made 2 huge hires right before he got here so it made his job a little easier. Overall, I think he's done fine. The think our athletic department has been fine. I'll give him a solid B-.

Honestly I can't get past the ridiculous Jimbo extension. Incredibly bad so far and casts a shadow over him completely.

The idiots who write the checks are the ones that got us into this mess with Jimbo. Not Bjork.

Bjork is average. He has no power, and the boosters are running the show. They are the ones that decided on the hires, and he is a puppet

Me. I say without any doubt in mind that I would be a better AD than Ross Bjork. Jimbo’s contract is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Jimbo is and has clearly never been a great coach.

I think ANY of us could be better contract negotiators. Sherman, Sumlin, Jimbo... All had guarantees with major penalties for early termination.

You cannot go in for a guarantee for a coach that isn't performing. So many millions of dollars needlessly wasted.

Like I said, do you really think Bjork is the one working on that extension? No, he is told what to do. Sharp is a large piece of the problem
