Just read this on TA:

quote:

Years ago, there was a young boy who accidentally shot himself, but was going to live and was home in Rodney's hometown of Groveton recovering. Rodney was asked to visit the young man, and didn't think twice in doing so. Apparently while Rodney was visiting the little boy took to admiring RT's Rolex. Before leaving RT took off that Rolex, handed it to the little boy and said "I'm glad you've still got time to keep, wear this when you grow up".

This world needs more people like Rodney.

The '93 and '94 teams were the first ones I really followed as a teenager when I was becoming a CFB fan and Rodney was a big part of that. He also happened to be the star of my first Tiger Stadium game in '94 on a great Saturday.

R.I.P.
