Fatally stabbed a jogger in Dallas. I remember the whole situation with him was really weird. Wish he could have gotten the help he needed.

Really sad. He had a ton of talent but was clearly very unstable

Was just wondering how great he'd be with Kyle Allen the other day.

Woah, are you positive it's the same Thomas Johnson? Pretty common name so I think it's a fair question but yeah, that's terrible. So much potential in life and if it's him, he just threw it all away.

It's all over the typical news outlets. And the mugshot is definitely the same TJ.

It's fricking criminal how this country handles mental health. If we treated schizophrenia like we do other deadly diseases, an innocent bystander would still be alive and TJ would have the support he needed. Failure and tragedy all around. Just awful.

Such a waste of talent. Dude obviously had issues back then, but nobody expected something this bad. Very sad.

Sad situation? He fricking killed a guy who was out jogging apparently for no reason. I just got back from my run. Guess I'm lucky to be alive.

in truth, he clearly wasn't right in the head and its on us that he wasn't confined given involuntary treatment for his own well being. Now a guy is dead, and I hope the prosecution hammers his arse.

Sad deal all around. He definitely needed help and his temporary disappearance now makes more sense. He needed help and never got it

Holy shite. Just wow. Me and the old lady are there all the time and she exercises there regularly. Glad he's off the street. Completely unnecessary. T&p for the families involved.

This is why we had mental institutions in this country until the courts dismembered them.

Thomas Johnson was an obvious nut who everyone knew was dangerous and crazy but in our society he was just left to wander around America in search of good times with a sharp knife.

He should've (and would've, back when we had them) been locked up in a State Mental Hospital a long time ago where his medication would have been mandatory instead of optional. People's parents can't watch after cases like this and it's ludicrous that we expect them to. Eventually the Thomas Johnsons of the world stop taking their meds, become schizoid again, and either leave or get kicked out of their houses, and bad things happen as a result.
